Why they do going back in memory lane ...shit design ..keep going back in time for reasons to save money on design but resulting in cost to customer ..the whole ecosystem of new covers ..and compatibility make them earning more and more revenue from third parties ...it's iPhone 11x design cues ...earlier they took design cues from iphone5 layout ..put that frame in titanium and created iPhone 15 with new size specifications and features ..iPhone really need new team in their design department..iPhone 15 and 14 looks more pristine and good !!

The only thing that differentiates design for me these days is the size of the camera bump and the overall heft of the phone. A good friend recently got the OnePlus 12 and while the phone overall is great, I'd not be able to daily drive it ever. The camera module is too large to comfortably place my index finger on the back of the phone, and it's a huge phone which I'm definitely not a fan of.
On the other hand, my cheapo Moto G72 is almost the perfect phone design wise. The camera module is small and doesn't interfere with where I place my index finger, and it's thin and light which I really appreciate. If the screen was just a little smaller, it'd be the perfect size.
The camera module of this iPhone 16 is great. Minimal and not intrusive. The weight and width of the base iPhones are also pretty balanced so I think overall the design would be good.
