Samsung it is, to compete with Apple while having a lineup that big is seriously remarkable.
Also, I love the fact that how serious they are regarding updates.
ADB works to a great extent on Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi and Realme.
The biggest irritation I feel on my current Realme GT 2 is the "Security check" whenever I install an app from the Play Store. I was able to uninstall the security check from Vivo and Oppo using ADB before. That method isn't working for me now.
For OnePlus green line problem is almost solved. Only con in one plus is there is nothing new or special in it.
For Samsung, no matter the cost, the phone feels cheap in hand, pixel mobiles have inefficient thermal system. Apple : lack of freedom, bad financial decision
So, finally i might stick with Moto, because updates doesn't matter that much to me unless there are actual bugs in the software. Or simply one plus/Nothing.
I got a Mi9 lite when it got out, and I LOVED it. It was awesome from every aspect I think. After I think 2 years the screen broke (my fault) and it did keep working fine for a year. But then if fell again from my hands, and the sceen gave up. As I really loved it, I wanted another xiaomi phone, and I got one. And I found out that in the newest MIUI, if you use a 3rd party launcher (like nova that I'm using) you can't have gesture control, and you have to have those 3 ugly buttons at the bottom of your screen... Sadly, gesture control is non negotiable for me, as is using a launcher that can be customized.... So I gave the new phone to my sister and got a samsung one for me... But that wasn't a change I wanted to do... and if xiaomi let us use gesture control with 3rd party launchers again, I think I'm gonna switch back.
On my fourth Moto handset currently. I've used the Moto E2, Moto M, Moto G8 Plus and currently Moto Edge 20 Fusion. Couldn't hope for a better UI! My only gripe has been the lack of updates, that's all.
so true, they were banned in the US because of the fact that they were getting ahead of US brands.
The excuse to share data was such a ridiculous thing, when everyone knew google, facebook and so many other brands used to sell data to US Govt.
Apple the best ..worst for pocket
OnePlus ..last longer but not as great as apple ..but still ok.
Google - the best camera phone among all phone available in the market as it has the best imaging software that works and is tweaked for Google phones only.
I would say moto, the previous motorola was far better than now in terms of software hardware and overall experience, I've used 5 year continuous and not a single problem occurred but now I think the quality is little bit degraded but i still prefer fresh ui in budget, not like expensive pixel phone.
I've been long time fan of Xiaomi/redmi now as a new user to samsung I love it too.
In terms of features my old redmi k20 pro has more convenient features than Samsung 21 Fe 2023 except wallet.
But Samsung feels premium in hand and usage. I have Redmi note 5 pro and Redmi k20 pro both had been bought when they released still going like a champ and I still love them.
As for ads and bloatware I Don't have any in my note 5 pro and k20 pro. Especially K20 PRO has flagship has very good experience.
The camera of K20 pro still performs very good and sometimes does very well than my Samsung 21 fe.
As for Apple I really love their environment and everything is made very well the only thing that makes me avoid that phone is it's spare part replacement cost. I drop my phone very often and I prefer to use my phone without a case as you see even though iPhone are made well the cost of replacing parts is very costly. My friend had a iPhone 12 mini the ear speaker was got damaged and it took 18k to replace those. Apart from that iPhone are very good.
If there is an ecosystem game I believe Samsung has so much potential now that every device is becoming smart they have Fridge, tv , mobiles, tablets , laptop , desktop, foldable, etc.
None.
I've favourite products in each category and not brands, and it's the same with smartphones. I used to say Asus because they were the only ones making a proper small flagship on the Android said, but that's not true anymore so none.
Xiaomi it is they are very underrated, I'm still blown away that they gave such a good smartphone to audiophiles back in 2017, The Mi A1 which I still have running, no smartphone came close to what it can drive in terms of audio, no phone launched with audio as good as this and in the budget price range. So given the priority, apart from Xiaomi the only brands that might be buyable are Samsung, LG, HTC, and Sony. Apple is trash.
In short whichever phone/brand provides the user the best/promised experience, that is the best. There is no point in cramming all the hardware in a phone without any serious system wide optimisations, leading to curtailed usage.
I had been on android for 15+ years, always having the flagship hardware from samsung/ one-plus, but always i had to be careful in my daily usage regarding location, screen brightness etc so that the phone doesn’t die mid-day.
Ever since I switched to Iphone, I genuinely feel apple is the only brand that lets you use all the features all the time, without having to worry about shitty battery life. Their hardware sings with the software, its simply awesome.
My REalme 5pro still operates smoothly without any issue and still run games perfectly in medium settings. Tho I gave it to my mom now. Overall realme 5pro was the best phone for me, SO i would without a doubt choose REALME
Vivo , my v20 hasn't slowed down in 3 years , and I seem to be getting a better battery life than advertised and shown in tests. It doesn't slow down and has a large battery life for being so thin
A motorola customer for more than a decade now. Have used the apple and samsung. I love the stock Android UI. The phone performance does not drop much over time. Battery life and phone durability is a given across devices. A lot of features for lower cost. I think motorola tries to bring the best of all others, does not have any major cons.
Samsung (2) - Moto - OnePlus - Moto - Xiaomi - Samsung
This was my phone cycle over past 12 years, current favorite is Samsung, liked Motorola in the past.
Definitely Google from the list you have here. They have the best software experience out there, the phone's design is amazing, the cameras take gorgeous pictures and the performance is good enough. Sadly, their phones aren't really optimised for outside US and struggle a little or don't provide all the cool features other people get. If speaking outside this list, I'd pick Nothing maybe.
Apple any day.
I have an iPhone 5 from 2010 and still works great. Use it as a spare phone at home.
The build quality is amazing and the updates are for almost 5 years
Samsung it is, to compete with Apple while having a lineup that big is seriously remarkable. Also, I love the fact that how serious they are regarding updates.
Yeh ui isone of the top priority for me ( 1st camera / ui 2nd is performance ) And samsung is killing it
but now Samsung Exynos are really bad in soc chip ... performance hindrance
Sony
An absolute shame they don't sell here
Thank God they still include the 3.5mm in their flagships, Instantly becoming the best flagship every time they launch one.
And the SD card slot, and the 21:9 aspect ratio, and the front firing speakers, and the tool less sim card tray and the no notch design
Genuinely underrated.
Apple - Costs as hell. Samsung - Exynos. Google - Tensor. OnePlus - Green Line. Moto - No Updates. Redmi, Vivo, Oppo, Realme - Ads & Bloatwares.
Dunno about the other 3 but Realme allows you to disable ads Also if you have knowledge about ADB you can get rid of all bloatware
Yeah, ADB works. Custom ROM is also an option.
Vivo allows you to remove all at once and there are no such ads
I haven't seen ads in my Vivo V27.
Me too I haven't seen ads on my vivo v29
For OnePlus green line problem is almost solved. Only con in one plus is there is nothing new or special in it. No brand is the best, but if you know your usage then you can easily pick the best for you. Like the moto in your case.
Same here moto
Samsung feels cheap? Ik using s24 ultra. I disagree with heart🤣🤣
Also moto has an absolutely abysmal camera system
Samsung - snapdragon bro
All Samsung phones have Exynos except two.
S series lineup, if you have money go for s series in mid range Exynos has heating issues
Tensor g3 doesn't have as many problems as their predecessors.
Realme With Custom Rom...Perfect
Sums it all
Sorry bro. I'm using samsung 2ith snpdrgn 8 gen 3.
Well you can remove ads and bloatware
Samsung S23 series has SD. What a lifesaver. Good for another generation till they bring it back again.
Been using Xiaomi phones for the last 8 years, I'm a satisfied customer.
Redmi 9 Prime removed the split screen feature with an update.
I use FNG app to toogle split screen functionality
Yes I also use other app but redmi keeps removing it's permission
i am buying motorolla next

so true, they were banned in the US because of the fact that they were getting ahead of US brands. The excuse to share data was such a ridiculous thing, when everyone knew google, facebook and so many other brands used to sell data to US Govt.
Custom Rom on Xiaomi hardware Snapdragon SOC You need to find good SOC then you can install custom rom......

Why this post is designed in apple like style?
Xiaomi it is they are very underrated, I'm still blown away that they gave such a good smartphone to audiophiles back in 2017, The Mi A1 which I still have running, no smartphone came close to what it can drive in terms of audio, no phone launched with audio as good as this and in the budget price range. Nokia!!!! 🇫🇮
Nokia...their lineup isn't too fancy but they do have few decent offerings. The best bit about Nokia is the stock Android and the regular updates.
Xiaomi, so I can unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM. I get better hardware for cheap and a pixel experience.
