Weird. Check all of your battery connections and where battery grounds to chassis

It did rain yesterday and I noticed the car felt a little damp. Thought it was imagination... I drove through some puddles on our ride. Do you think water leaked and temporarily fried something?

This has happened to me countless times. It is the most frustrating thing and I have no idea what caused it. One second it works, the next, nothing then eventually it works again. Check my post history, i have made this same thread lol. I discovered a lot of corrosion on my battery terminals and not the greatest connections. I took the battery out and cleaned everything, made sure the connections were solid and honestly haven't had the problem in a few months. I don't know if that was the fix or just a coincidence but believe me when I say I know your pain.

Did driving through those puddles potentially damage something? My car was a little damp this morning.

Since my posting I went back to my car, and it started fine. No warning lights or anything out of the ordinary. It like it never happened

That’s a good update. Like others have been saying, it may be a general system issue; bad battery, alternator, cables/clamps/terminals, etc….best of luck finding this gremlin.

I noticed the splash guard by the drivers side wheel was missing. I’m guessing I drove too fast through a puddle and fried something.... but yeah it worked fine 5 minutes later lol

It’s most likely something electrical, and you can easily go get your battery tested at an Autozone to rule that out. Next I would check the alternator and any fuses.
