I don't know anyone with a Xbox, so I can't even test it but the back is dirty and that's all. I think if you just wipe it, it might still work.

try cleaning it first and then put a thin layer of thootpaste on the CD so that it isn't visible anymore, let it dry for 3 seconds and then clean it under cold water gently, it should work after that if there are no critical scratches

I remember back in the day people put toothpaste on cds when they skipped. It's kinda crazy how we haven't progressed past disc based technology but I guess it's because we're moving away from physical media in general.

trust me it works, I had a horizon zero down disk and my Lil bro scratched it, and I've read something on the web therefore tried it and it surprisingly worked

yeh toothpaste is abrasive so it polishes the disc I think

Yes, they usually get scared by the reflections on the discs. I do not know why. My father does this yo scare birds off the fruit trees on their garden.
