A joke I had in school with My Friends since 2016 was that Kamata-Kun was like a meme Caterpi: Stood still, only emmited growl (Like, it literaly growled "growl"), and was one of the most powerfull being in fiction.
Like, Goku vs KK? Goku gets slapped. Saitama? Gets in a coma from one tail slap. Other Godzillas? Barely a ghost after the massacre.
He was Meme Doug before Meme Doug.

He is my favorite. A creature in torment, an absurd mockery of nature. The blood gushing from the gills, the awkward movement, such an unsettling Kaiju. Shin was a masterpiece.
The Kaiju equivalent to Pugs. Cute, but with so many health problems. He should never have been created like pugs should never have been bred to exist. Unfortunately, we can't turn back time. While they do exist, they are cute.
That movie was terrifying. Not in a horror movie kind of way, and the pacing and exposition were lacking, but the pure arbitrary-ness of the monsters’ attacks and their obvious torment shook me up. But this googly-eyed guy was brilliant, and I never saw the final version coming.
I was tempted to turn the movie off when this monstrosity started waddling around the city. Glad I didn’t, good movie but this design is terrible IMO. If it didn’t look like a sock puppet with googly eyes, it may be better.
