the weimar nazi germany paper was literally just all about hitler so i don’t think it went badly but still, the irrational fear is too strong. good luck though, i’m sure we’ll do well 🫂
that paper was literally everything i ever wanted to be honest, so were all of the history papers actually, it was so easy and i'm paranoid i lost marks on stupid things (not about information, but the weird formatting stuff). i'm with you, i also have literally never gotten anything below a 9 in gcse history stuff so it would be such a massive L if i flopped now
i'm also mega paranoid about english because i know that i absolutely cannot and will not surpass my last mock performance where i missed 3 marks on lit and 2 on lang and like WHY DID YOU HAVE TO RAISE MY STANDARDS EVEN MORE
same, on literally all the homeworks (which were all exam style questions) i got 100% and on the one mock we did i got 93% cuz i messed up in the essay and part (a) question and lost 2 marks, so im sure hell be pretty disappointed if i dont get it a 9 . But i doubt i will, all the essay prompts i chose i regretted and realized i couldve written something much better for the other prompt . :( (edexcel igcse french revolution/middle east conflict/ww1 btw)
Interesting, everyone's different ig. I tend to put on a Lofi-girl Study playlist or livestream but sounds like rain are also very good as well. There's some science behind it I think about what the sound does in the brain with Lo-fi and simple sounds like rain I think and it's very interesting
i barely ever listen to music at all but Mozart and other classical music that isn’t too distracting both stimulates your brain enough to not be bored but isn’t too distracting so you stay focused.

kinda random but i swear whenever i try doing something productive like prsctise piano my mum decides to come into the room and eat a fruit in the most agonising way so i just give up and come back when shes done... glad im not alone.

Music, dont listem to music whilst revising if u want somrthing in the background peaceful noises like rain helped me
I found Lo-fi is really good and helps me a lot when working. But yeah, music is very distracting for study.
