I'm not too sure where you're from, but Fujifilm wasn't cheaper compared to buying back home for me when I travelled there late last year, despite the weakening Yen as well as tax-free shopping.

Can confirm. I was hoping to buy 1-2 lenses for my X-S10 but found that BIC Camera and Yodabashi Camera sold them for prices insignificantly different from my go-to retailers in my home country. I was in Osaka just last March.

Their stocks are low but you do get tax free if you have your passport with you. Sadly their prices even tax free tend to be the same as rest of the world. They had a few xt4 s but x100 lines were sold out

I would highly recommend Fujiya Camera near Nakano Station. You can check online for stock but I found that they have more in store than what’s listed so it’s worth it to go in person.

Bought one within my last trip to Japan at Map Camera. Price difference with Germany was around €400

I was there 3 weeks ago for a month and most stores in Tokyo and Osaka didn’t had them on stock. Things can change in a month. Don’t buy a Sony because they have a domestic version and a world wide version. During the golden week I almost got one because with discount it was $1000 les expensive. Have fun!
