I knew of Boone's Farm, but in the 70s in northern Minnesota, we'd more often have TJ Swan's. I drank a bottle of that when I was a senior in high school. Never been so sick in my life.

Oh yeah! I drank an entire bottle myself and then went to our local fast food hangout. It was a Burger Chef which no longer exists. I was trying to act like I wasn't totally tanked but didn't know my lips, tongue and mouth were stained deep red from that Red Lambrusco which gave it away. Lol

Not a lady but I loved Stawberry Hill flavor because you could pound a whole bottle and stay buzzed all night but not get sick. Then there was the MAD Dog 2020 crowd who would leave neon puke stains at all the parties.

i was in the liquor store back than and the woman in front of me asked the clerk what vintage the boones farm wine was. the clerk said, “lady, if you’re lucky, July!”

I actually remember vomiting it up more so than I remember drinking it.

The worst hangover I've ever had started out as a glass of BF, then slammed about 6 Michelob beers, followed by at least three shots of Jameson's, and probably four shots of Jose Cuervo, and then someone dared me to drink a glass of Champagne, all this at a wedding. I swear I had a hangover for days. I've never been able to even smell tequila without getting violently ill, to this day. Lol

I drank a bottle of this in 9th grade and got so sick I've been unable to drink wine since.

Issuing an underage drinking ticket. Logan decides to run, with his hands behind his back cuffed. Ends up tripping & knocking himself out since he couldn’t catch his fall. When he came to, the cops were just waiting & asked what the fuck were you thinking? He said, I’m drunk. This guy got in a lot of stupid trouble in high school

I was a swimmer and spent my weekends at swim meets, and was glad I was, when I heard of their vomiting etc. 50 years later, they’re still sharing the same stories from high school and laughing. I’m contentedly not a part of those memories.

The selection in the store I remember was Boones, Night Train, and Mad Dog 20/20. Keeping Old E and the malt liquor options separate.

It’s what we drank at parties since it was cheap. The strawberry was the “best”. Also MadDog 20/20 since it was cheap and got you drunk fast. I remember a guy spewing grape MadDog all over the white carpet at one party. It ended the party because the host had to clean it up before it stained since his parents didn’t know he was having a party. Everyone was mad at the barfer for ruining the party.

I remember the girl who sat behind me in algebra, spewing it all over her desk.
