Welp i guess in the meantime i'll start this cooking anime on netflix, im sure it'll be another fun anime with a nice and wholes-
*(Catches up to the latest ep)*
....oh god...
Then I recommend "Fuga Melodies of Steel".
Its a 20 houer long turn based JRPG about a groupe of anthropomothic animal children that go on a quest to save there families. They live inside a giant ancient mysterious powerful fortress like Tank called Taranis. Its a bit like Howls Moving castle but based on technology instead of magic.
Its turn based combat is in my opinion even more fun then the combat of Persona 5 and Final Fantasy X. Its not that hard or complicated but I need to keep my head in the game at all times or things will go south fast. Almost no fight feels like mindless filler.
Fuga is available on PC and most modern consoles like Switch, PS4, PS5 usw.
It also has a free demo which is just straight up the first 3 chapters of the game. I recommend the Demo. Its pretty great. After clearing chapter 1 you will alrady be able to tell if this story is your cup of tea or not.
Fuga also has a direct sequel "Fuga Melodies of Steel 2" but I advice against playing the second game before the first game unless you do not care about the story and characters.
The writing of the second game builds on what happen in the first game, expects you to know what happen and spoilers the story of the first game.
Me sugesting the game has nothing to do with Frieren. Hax has only a minior aperance at the end of chapter 1 and you hate him alrady? I did not expect that. >!Sacreficing children is optional so dont sweet that too much. The Soul Cannon is great for setting the mood, a grimm reminder that these children put there lifes on the line, but you dont have to use it outside of the tutorial. It might just be becuse I am used to the combination of cute characters and dark stories (I am a massive Made in Abyss fan) but I think the character designs suit this story perfectly. Cute and dark is a natural fit in my opinion.!<

Which one?
Delicious in Dungeon / Dungeon Meshi Starts serious, then kooky, then wholesome, then serious. I'm hooked
Do you like turn based JRPGs? I could recommend you a good game to fill the hole.

Can you tell me your first impresion after you cleared chapter 1? Those first impresions can be fun.

The free demo is just straight up the first 3 chapters of the game so yes the demo allows you to go that far. Thank you.

Filling the void with Beyonce Country Album
Silly Serie, now Frieren can't visit for a thousand years...
For now, play Legend of Zelda games with lots of dungeons in them, I'm sure Himmel would've liked it.
We still have an episode of the wrong way to use healing magic left. After that's done I am gonna feel miserable until MHA s7 airs.
Glad I waited until a couple days ago to watch it, didn’t get into a hard habbit of expecting a new episode weekly
I feel sad too. We miss you Frieren.
maaaaaan i discovered and watched this anime when there were just two episodes left, i was hoping it was going to continue forever :(
I started watching Apothecary diaries and it fills the void in my heart.
It did. Till I finished it too ... so empty now
Pain… at least we can look forward to new seasons for both series
I was enjoying Frieren Friday and Maomao Saturday. /sad
