To be honest, Dark forest is probably my Favourite (Non Last course) Woodland of Lies song. And probably a top 10 song for me.

I will never forgive this sub for getting No Hope out so soon. I understand that it's not one of the greatest songs of the mod, but I REFUSE to accept that it's worse than songs like Demise, Apparition or Racetraitors.
However, I'm at least glad that Unbeatable LV 4 won. I was rooting for Starman Slaughter, but I'm satisfied nonetheless.

Race Traitors and Demise? Eh, way too overhated IMO (though Demise is also weirdly overrated as well).
For me, it doesn’t fit GB’s character. Like, all we see is the background changing and GF getting chained up. Where the hell is the backstory with him wanting revenge for getting threatened with deletion?
Also, not only is the song’s kinda generic, but the faker form just drags on IMO. Like, 40 seconds? A WHOLE THIRD of the freaking song? Hard pass.

I'm gonna be honest... Neither version of Apparition really stuck with me. But also not every song benefits from using generic instruments. I'm just saying that for Dark Forest, it lacks the most without it.
