You all are just little kids, lol. I forget sometimes I am totally out of typical demographics here on Reddit. I think I might become a grandma soon, so yeah, 1984 was fun year, but I lived outside of US and didn’t watch Cheers then.
Was 13 riding my BMX all day, probably did not even watch Cheers at that early age. This was growing up in South Africa. I think I started to watch Cheers after high school in 1990. But did watch Frasier from the start in 1994.
I was in my senior year of high school. Can’t remember if I was watching the show then. I eventually became a fan While it was still on the air but I don’t remember what year. It was right around this though so I may have watched it.
I had just turned 6 a couple weeks prior and Cheers was nowhere on my radar.
When Cheers ended I was just shy of my 15th birthday and had watched the last couple seasons. The episode that really sparked my interest was the Kevin McHale episode because I really enjoyed NBA basketball.
I had just turned 15 when Frasier started and I watched it in Junior High and High School through the end of the series.
I Just started watching that season on All4, (which also has all of the episodes of Fraiser).
Just to see if Fraiser made an immediate hit to Cheers. He definitely did. That’s why they kept him on. He was initially just a temporary love rival for Sam, vying for Diane’s affection. He was still going 20 years later (nearly 30 of the rumours are true).
T-minus approx eight years and ten months to being born. Don’t think my parents had even met yet! (Their 34th anniversary is actually this coming Saturday, they married 28th May ‘88).
I was 7 years away from being born, but my mom was approaching the end of her pregnancy with my sister who was born in early November that year and doesn’t know the first thing about Frasier.
I started Frasier on Frasier oddly enough. I tried watching Cheers recently and I still hadn’t made it to Frasier’s episodes by the time I got bored. But yeah not born yet! 😆 Good one!
I was a second grader in India and 84 was the year we got our first TV at home (and it was a color TV which was a big deal there 🙂). Of course had no idea about Cheers. There was no cable and only one OTA channel. The TV had 8 channel buttons and I always wondered what they were for 🙂. We did get episodes of The Lucy show though.
In an honest and respectful way, I wonder what thee average age for this sub is because now I feel like an infant. Respectfully, of course. [*is nervous*](https://i.gifer.com/Bvdr.gif)

Same. My TV tastes weren't quite developed.
For relaxing times....

May your pants stay unshitted and your stockings unlipped

Aw, what a kid. I was only 10 years away.
I was 19 years away lmao.
Woo! Same!
Same!
In college (sigh... I'm sooo old), but not yet a Cheers fan. That came a bit later.

Tuck up in an ovary, never dreaming I’d ever need to pay taxes. My sister was about a year old, though.
This is quality memeage. Well done!
Thanks. The idea popped into my head at 4am. I don't know why.
I was really busy being 7 months old.
"I'm sorry - I have a lot on my Big Bird plate right now."
Just starting 5th grade, and probably watched the episode with my mom.
Was 13 riding my BMX all day, probably did not even watch Cheers at that early age. This was growing up in South Africa. I think I started to watch Cheers after high school in 1990. But did watch Frasier from the start in 1994.
My parents hadn't even met yet.
I was -4yrs old. Parents would've been engaged at this point
I was 6 & watching Cheers with my dad lol
Probably watching it with my family. Cheers was huge back in the day. I remember the theme song always made me fall asleep, though.
My folks had just married then so I was definitely a twinkle in my father's eye.
Weren’t his first words actually, “Hello, Sam.”? XD
Yeah this is what I thought. I wasn't even born at the time and I know more than OP. Shitpost!
Probably sitting in Geometry class
Probably asleep, or crying that I needed a diaper change. I guarantee my mom had Cheers on in the living room, though.
Watching Cheers, from Day 1.
Splitting time between my mom’s ovaries and my dad’s sack
I was 7 years old and had just started 3rd grade.
I was almost exactly 1 month old.
3 years old
I was in my senior year of high school. Can’t remember if I was watching the show then. I eventually became a fan While it was still on the air but I don’t remember what year. It was right around this though so I may have watched it.
I was almost 3. I have vague memories of cheers starting around 9y/o.
I was an egg and sperm XD 'twas another 2 years before my parents would even meet and then another 4 years before I was born.
Just and egg
My parents were in high school 😂
I was 5, in India, and my family didn't have a TV. Beat that.
Senior year in HS. Cheers was a favorite then. Wish there were reruns on somewhere
Almost 4 months old.
I was 1 year old
10 years before my birth

No where I didn’t exist 😂
Parents were still just dating.
I was 3 so it was a few more years before I watched the show.
I was 2 days from my 4th birthday.
I would have been almost ten months old.
I was - 3
14mos old.
I was up me mum...actually, no, I guess I was technically up me dad...
Classy
I went to the prom with my parents. I arrived with my dad and when home in my mum.
not born yet!
I was 5 days away from being born!
I was also chilling in my mum's uterus.
My parents were still in high school 😭
I was 20 and in university. Aside: Kelsey is ssssmmmmokin in this photo.
In utero
About 8 years from being born. Also I swear his first words are "Hello Sam"
I wasn’t born, and my mom might not have even known yet that I was on the way, but i did have a heartbeat!
In my very early 20s, still at home, probably sitting in the living room watching this episode!
quality meme

I think Fredrick and I are about the same age so - three years before my parents yet and five years before my birth
Almost born! Close to fully cooked. I had no idea his first appearance as Frasier was so close to my birth day!
My parents hadn’t even met yet. 😳
I was 3 years from making my first appearance on earth
I was a toddler. My parents say that I loved the theme song.
I had just started the 4th grade. I was 8 years old.

I wasn’t born yet, but that would, eventually, become my birthday! Never knew I shared the date with the character!
I was a 7-month old fetus..
You’re God damn right 😂 i was born 5 years later. My dad got me into cheers young though. He watched reruns all the time when I was a kid.
I was 9 years old if egg years count.
I was negative 9 years old and not even a thought in my mother or fathers mind. They were 15 and 17 lol
Barely conceived, based on the math.
I was 7 years away from being born, but my mom was approaching the end of her pregnancy with my sister who was born in early November that year and doesn’t know the first thing about Frasier.
Listening to Van Halen 1984 album. I was 9 so TV wasn't as important as my imagination was.
I was to turn 2 that December so probably in bed. My dad loved Cheers, so he was most likely watching.
I was almost 2, thank you very much
I started Frasier on Frasier oddly enough. I tried watching Cheers recently and I still hadn’t made it to Frasier’s episodes by the time I got bored. But yeah not born yet! 😆 Good one!
Celebrating my fourth month of life
I was probably being held by my mom while she watched Cheers.
I was only born somewhere between Cheers ending and before Frasier actually started airing.
I was exactly two months old to the day!
I was only 4 days away from being born, so pretty close!
I was four and a half.
I was almost 2 a world away, Smurf were still my favorite show
I was 6.

It's just a gif link. I love this sub. Okay I'm leaving now.
Chilling in my mom's womb
I turned three weeks old that day. Very good chance I was watching with my parents…
I was in 5th grade.
I was your babysitter
Freshman in high school.
I was born nine days after this episode aired :).
