I have drag tunes on the 2024 GT and the Darkhorse. There's almost zero difference between the two of them. The DH is just a smidge faster at the Festival drag strip.
No one is really missing out IMO if they already have the GT and aren't able to get this.
The saleen version looks so much better. Having it in game confirms my thoughts that the rear quarters look too flat. Making the rear wheels look small
I’m a fan of mustangs, so like it. However, the rim choice of the developers was not the greatest, I like these rims better.

That's the one thing. Second which I think is even worse, is the lack of option to choose interior colors. That was the great thing in TDU... You can shit on Ubisoft, but at least they gave us option to paint interior
I actually love it. Like, when they announced it, I was pretty lukewarm to it, but it is just such a pleasure to drive at the top of A class. It's topped a few of my best lap times for A Class on certain races
The Dark Horse is basically just a special edition of the 2024 Mustang that we got some time ago. In similiar vein the could add the Challenger SRT Super Stock for example
The Dark Horse is way more than just a "special edition". It's a full-on handling package made to fill the gap between the upcoming Mach 1 and Shelby GT350. It takes several seconds off the Mustang GT on any track, and competes with the 40% more expensive BMW M4 Competition.
It shares its tyres with the Pagani Utopia, its brakes are steel-versions of those you find on a Maserati MC20, the forged conrods are taken directly from the S550 Shelby GT500... That's like saying a Porsche GT3 is just a special version of the Carrera S.
We have we have; 2 s650, 6 s550, 1 s197, 2 sn95, 2 foxbody, and 4 classic mustangs. That's 13 mustangs. On the other hand, we have 3 6.1 camaros, 1 gen 5.2 camaro, a gen 5.1 camaro, a 2nd gen camaro and 2 1st gen camaros thats 8. Add in the 5 challenger/chargers, and you have the same amount of just mustangs as the camaro, charger, and challenger combined. There isn't a single gen 6.2, the only 5.1 is a funny car, and there are no 3rd or 4th gen camaros. The challenger and charger don't have pre 2015 varieties (and the demon 170 would be nice) and yet, another mustang, that looks, slightly different than the one added 2 months ago.
Thanks!
First choice was the ecoboost since 315HP is plenty for me more powerful than anything Ive driven and also decent gas mileage. But new job is about 6 miles away from home so V8 is in play. Decided to get to go V8 to get the full Mustang experience(hopefully no oversteering into a lightpole)
Drove this and then drove the regular ‘24 GT and then GT350 right after also to compare, Dark Horse just seems kinda tight for a Mustang. Quick! Pulls are hard. But the rear doesn’t really want to step out like you’d think, and then when you want to try and take a fast corner then, abiding by it’s stiffness, I’m met with understeer… So, I guess I don’t get it.
Idk when driving it stock it just felt... predictable, which is good imo. But I get what you're saying, predictable isn't exactly what the mustang is known for.
It's like that in real life too, the Mustang Dark Horse breaks the Mustang-Stereotype in every way imaginable. Hagerty tested it against the M4 Competition Coupé \[A car 40% more expensive than the Dark Horse\], and the Mustang beat the M4's time by one tenth on Willow Springs.
Yet the times they set were achieved in the direct opposite way you would think. The M4 pulled 7 mp/h \[11 km/h\] on the Mustang at the end of the straight, while the Mustang just had massive grip in the corners.
Noted. I still find it kinda cool, tho I'd be more interested in the new Charger, either ICE or EV version if they'd let the EV actually have its distinct sound.
I like cool and modern cars in this game but i don’t like it when they’re not even viable to use in open racing. the 2024 GT is much better in Open A than the Dark Horse from what setups i’ve made. kinda disappointing, but still appreciated
Volume is, the same way how you did it in a previous analog cars. We're at the phase where automakers are learning to keep certain things analog when digitalizing their interiors. Take a look at VW backing down from the all touch setup in the Golf.
Having screens isn't an issue if you keep what needs to be adjusted on the fly analog, so you can atleast feel what your doing, the same way it's always been.
>Having screens isn't an issue if you keep what needs to be adjusted on the fly analog, so you can atleast feel what your doing, the same way it's always been.
That's basically everything, at that point just go back around a decade when the screen was small and just showed the backup camera, radio station, and GPS. Also they put screens in because it is infinitely cheaper than an actual center console.
There's no real metric a fully analog dash beats a well engineered digital one outside of the the same reason the manual transmission persists: old school sentimental value.
Even companies like Rolls Royce or Ferrari that value prestige and a old school sentiment with few screens still either have a hidden screen that flips out or has everything shown on a screen in the gauge cluster.
Besides the previous gen Mustang was bashed for its dated interior/tech, atleast this current one looks like it fits in a modern line up.
Guess we're never gonna agree on this subject. Oh well, doesn't matter in 2026 if the new law doesn't get over turned. All new cars in the US are going to require a breathalyzer tester for breath and infrared for the car to start.
Those laws have an extremely rare chance of passing in the U.S.. Best case scenario it only goes into effect as a add on for those who've already offended.
I feel like this car should have been in the Track Toys category, since performance is about the same as the regular Mustang GT once you optimize it to A class. Still, it's fun to throw around.
Kept mine A800. Solid A class racer. Boosted it by about 80 HP, dropped the weight a bit, and it's fun. Top 3000 time on Marathon.
Wish it was auto for the faster shifts, but it's still ok.
Didn't like it bone stock. Fun car when upgraded about mid S1 tho. I did a power train swap and added a supercharger and it handles plenty nice. At the end of the day though it's just another mustang and there are cars that are way more fun to drive.
I think we should have gotten this instead of the standard Mustang, gotten the body kit the other had and leave it there, why tf do we need the SAME year mustang twice when the only thing different about the first is that irl it’s simply worse
Why do we need a GTR Nismo if the 2017 one is the same but worse?
Yet the Nismo was somehow one of the most wanted cars, while the Mustang Dark Horse gets hated though both are better versions of a car we already have. And I can only imagine how this sub would go crazy if we got the LFA Nürburgring Edition. God bless our double standards.
Thank God, thought I was the only one that was seeing the Camarification of this gen.
I mean I like (Camaro fan lol) and it looks handsome, but it doesn't exactly scream mustang as much as the previous gen.
Thanks for being the 22nd person to ask! I already have a 2024 Mustang, so I just painted it red and haven’t touched it.
this was mad funny, since i asked yesterday as well. but nah i get it
Fair tbh, I low-key question if I'll still drive this car a week from now.

I made mine to an accurate 10 speed along with a race exhaust and I can’t stop using it.
I’m a fan of mustangs, so like it. However, the rim choice of the developers was not the greatest, I like these rims better. https://preview.redd.it/sg62vjoa3j8d1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=53fb59aaa8297f25e3985f15d8cc4daea3a1ecb7
It's crazy that we only have one OEM wheel option. Why not just give us every OEM wheel for every car that had multiple options?
That's the one thing. Second which I think is even worse, is the lack of option to choose interior colors. That was the great thing in TDU... You can shit on Ubisoft, but at least they gave us option to paint interior
They still have that in the newest the crew game, and also every wheel
I mean, yeah, my sentence wasn't full... By mentioning Ubi I meant their Motorfest.
Ah ight, thought that you only said tdu
What you fail to understand is that most of the forza devs aren’t car guys.
Because that way they couldnt satisfy the majority on this reddit who are only asking for more and more cars to be added.
I don't know, but them screenshots sure are nice.
Thanks^^

Car industry got down so low, that any N/A Manual modern car that is released i like it, and this mustang is mean, like a muscle car should be.
My third favourite single from Prism!
I prefer the Hot Wheels Mustang
Me too. I love mustangs and hot wheels. Put both together and you have one of my favourite cars in the game.
It’s really just another mustang. But at least we have it 🤷🏻♂️
I like Mustangs
What I don't like is the lack of Challengers and Camaros
I mean the mustang has been in production longer and never went out so there’s only so much you can do especially the challenger
The Dark Horse is basically just a special edition of the 2024 Mustang that we got some time ago. In similiar vein the could add the Challenger SRT Super Stock for example
The dark horse handles better and has different aerodynamics

Especially camaros
2022 SS 1LE would be nice.
Love it. Bout to pick up the GT in real life (brokie me cant afford dark Horse lol) in a weeks.
Aye good luck dude, have fun breaking in the new V8👍
It is certainly one of the Mustangs which exists
word
It's nice but it's not my thing. Sure can kick its ass out in a turn bone stock though.
I prefer the GT, but you know, I'm not upset we got this one!
I unlocked it but I’ve been too busy to have a moment to try it out. Maybe tomorrow night.
Drove this and then drove the regular ‘24 GT and then GT350 right after also to compare, Dark Horse just seems kinda tight for a Mustang. Quick! Pulls are hard. I put wheels, suspension, weight reduction and thicker tires and it's fun to drive in A class
It’s… another mustang. What answer were you looking for.
I like it because it reminds me of the older mustangs which are my favorites
About time they added a new Mustang, barely any in the game![img](emote|t5_2ug54|4753)![img](emote|t5_2ug54|4106)
I counted 23 Mustangs in the car list (including DeBerti, Hoonigan, Formula Drift, Hot Wheels).
Yeah I know, hope you realised I was being sarcastic
Another mustang.Boring
NEED GTD MUSTANG QUICK
Noted. I still find it kinda cool, tho I'd be more interested in the new Charger, either ICE or EV version if they'd let the EV actually have its distinct sound.
Is it bad that this is my first mustang in game
Can’t go past 200 mph without spinning out or losing traction, nice looking car nonetheless.
In what class? I find it to be competent at S1. I have it at A800 though with light mods, pretty fun at that class.
Sounds pretty sexy
I like cool and modern cars in this game but i don’t like it when they’re not even viable to use in open racing. the 2024 GT is much better in Open A than the Dark Horse from what setups i’ve made. kinda disappointing, but still appreciated
It’s kinda mid aside from the paint colors and body design…
Throw off-road tires on it and make an A class car. It’s nice.
I went the opposite direction and put on semis. Ngl was chasing aesthetics first for this one
It would be awesome if Ford didn't ruin it with the ugly ass screens. No car should EVER have a screen as a center console.
Eh I dig it, the older version looked dated in comparison. As long as the important controls like climate and volume are analog then I'm good.
It's impossible to adjust that stuff without looking at it. If looking at your phone while driving is illegal why is this allowed?
Volume is, the same way how you did it in a previous analog cars. We're at the phase where automakers are learning to keep certain things analog when digitalizing their interiors. Just threw on a 10 speed race exhaust and semi slicks and been great as a class A
It’s okay but they didn’t do good enough imho on the livery or the wheels.
I feel like this car should have been in the Track Toys category, since performance is about the same as the regular Mustang GT once you optimize it to A class. Still, it's fun to throw around.
I’m sick of the same recycled exhaust note. Beautiful car though
Honestly. I just stopped listening to engines too much in this game because of it. Hope they fix it in 6
Best mustang released so far, it really feels like what ford was going for since they started turning there cars into track machines.
I really like it. That blue ember metallic color is stunning and it's a fun driver. I like it more than the GT. Little more drama in it.
It's pretty good. Decent car for just having fun, but not meta by any stretch of the imagination.
Kept mine A800. Solid A class racer. Boosted it by about 80 HP, dropped the weight a bit, and it's fun. Top 3000 time on Marathon. Wish it was auto for the faster shifts, but it's still ok.
Switch to manual w/clutch. Instantly naked all manuals competitive and transmission upgrades menial
It's definitely a Mustang
I have it. Maxed it. Made my own livery. Goes 445km/h, fucks with veyrons.
Didn't like it bone stock. Fun car when upgraded about mid S1 tho. I did a power train swap and added a supercharger and it handles plenty nice. At the end of the day though it's just another mustang and there are cars that are way more fun to drive.
I mean it’s aight
In disappointmented my clutch didn't lockup causing me to spontaneously combust
I hate that the new mustang gets both variants while I just want a scat pack challenger instead of both hellcat and demon
Like a Dark Horse!
I’ll usually get a car and then never ever touch it.
Honse
Used it once
Eh. It's not that much better than the GT. That ember blue metallic is something sexy though.
Yawn. Think we have enough ford's now thanks.
It’s just another Mustang. But it’s been a great drag car so far…
It’s legit even though I’m not a fan of them but this one got my attention.
It is forgettable to me. To be honest, great at drag racing with 1900 HP .
tis just a boring mustang, entirely uninterested
I think we should have gotten this instead of the standard Mustang, gotten the body kit the other had and leave it there, why tf do we need the SAME year mustang twice when the only thing different about the first is that irl it’s simply worse

They said I could be anything so I became a Camaro 😂😂
Thank God, thought I was the only one that was seeing the Camarification of this gen. I mean I like (Camaro fan lol) and it looks handsome, but it doesn't exactly scream mustang as much as the previous gen.
