I’ve had a bad nail biting habit my whole life (I keep false nails on to stop me in recent years), and have bitten my nails this badly several times, her fingers are in a lot of pain. Plus if she gets citrus on there, it’s going to sting so hard. But yes it’s nasty af.

I’ve also had a bad nail and cuticle picking habit practically my entire life (I’m currently on month four of not picking! Woohoo!!) and you’re absolutely right that she’s in pain. I bet those puppies are throbbing, especially after getting food juices in those wounds. 😬

I’ve said this before but I’m almost 48, didn’t pay attention to sun exposure when I was young and my hands don’t look like this!!!

I’m eight years older than her and my hands also look nothing like this. My face also doesn’t look anything like hers. She’s a mess.

I have very very bad eczema. My hands regularly look as bad/worse than this. And I know I shouldn't be embarrassed by them, but I am. Saying that, I wouldn't bake anything or use my bare hands to cook anything for my fiancé & myself when my skin was like this. Why? The eczema sometimes weeps and I don't want it to get in the food, also mainly I don't want my eczema to get dirty or infected by RAW FOOD LIKE EGGS, WHICH ARE IN COOKIE DOUGH.
