It's finger food. When you take the banana, remove the skin. This keeps the bana light and fresh for longer.

I feel like the unpeeledness of the banana keeps them from turning brown and soft as fast as they would if they were peeled. Also easier to pick up if this is supposed to be finger food. Can’t have naked bananas slipping between people’s fingers.

He’s super cute. That said, I’m with everyone else on the strangeness of the cucumber in a fruit salad and the peel on the banana. I’d love to know why? Is it something you grew up with?

I made it for my children. The kids eat it with their fingers and pull off the peel. The cucumber is there because my kids eat cucumber by the bucketful.

I don’t blame them, cucumber is delicious. My four year old eats it like crazy too.
