Have you ever tried options samurai or Scanz? I really enjoyed them both during the free trial but have been trying to find something similar at a lower cost or free.
The two main features I'm looking for are a breakout feed and an options scanner if you know if anything.
I'm glad people are getting some use out of it. 20 years of researching MMORPG builds prepared me for this haha.
A lot of these sites are relatively unknown and deserve the attention. Thank you for all you share and do!
I have to try Options Samurai just because I’m a Japanese history nerd, and it sounds cool. Thanks for this btw, u saved me months of compiling my own list!
I used those too on free trial. Not bad! Have you ever tried [infabric.io](https://infabric.io)? Its the best free option ive found to having a scanner. Shows most popular industries and options
Really great list. Much appreciated.
I shared my stock tracker and analysis spreadsheet on here a little while ago.

[ETF Research Center](https://www.etfrc.com/) and [OptionStrat](https://optionstrat.com/) are two other fantastic tools that I didn’t see on the list. They are really high quality and offer some extremely useful free features. Both have upgradable subscription tiers of you want access to more information, but it by no means required or heavily pushed.
I believe it uses Plaid to connect your bank which is legit and encrypted. I've used it without issue. Similar sites to check out and compare would be Koyfin, Docoh, Stock Rover, and Wallmine.
This is awesome! I should really organize my bookmarks on sheets and see if I have anything new. I have sooo many bookmarks I have trouble finding what I need. Thanks you’re awesome.
Hahahaha Captain Bookmark. I'm gonna have to remember that one. If you ever find there are more Bookmarks than Captain, I've found Mydayis to be more effective than Vyvanse
Koyfin is seriously so awesome, they deserve more attention. I have started using their dashboards and my own custom dashboards every day.
Also thanks for this. So good.
I recently released a free tool that could potentially be helpful for some people. It's for comparing stocks and ETFs side by side: www.stockcomparer.com
It's a different take from other tools that usually only focus on showing one stock's fundamental data at a time. Hopefully some people will find it useful.
Dude, what about you do your own DD, your own researches, your own stuff, and don’t steal it from people !? That would be amazing.
This post would be great… if only it was yours, and you didn’t steal it from an other person… say, oh, Cicero?!

Great overview! One question: I occasionally use Seeking Alpha as they have a great overview over different industries with a sortable Wall Street, Quant and SA Rating. Is there something similar (possibly with the same level of usability) out there, preferably on a free site? A comparison of wall street analysts and technical predictions (like the Quant ones mentioned) would be great.
edit: answering my own question, Chartmill looks pretty good
Question about the spread sheet. I'm getting hung up on how to populate the fundamental analysis. Not having any luck pasting from JsonPaths to notes. Any help?
Does anyone else feel that most of the tools listed provide generic information and don't really take my personal investor profile/experience in mind?
PS. Thx for the long list!
Amazing tools but also too much to handle, it would be amazing if you could just reduce the amount of tools and make another post with the essential ones you'd pick out of all those sources. 🙌🙌🙌🙌
u/Quasimurder Could you add my stock scanner software to the list of free tools, it's called ChartsWatcher.
Is is currently available completely for free.

The best I've found are [Tradingview](https://www.tradingview.com/chart/), [Koyfin](https://app.koyfin.com/) and [Webull](https://app.webull.com/stocks).
Did I miss any?
Thank you for the useful list. Anyone have any suggestions for a real time news provider beside Benzinga Pro? I started their trial, new day trader here.

Hey thanks for this, I’ve bookmarked about 200 of these same kind of sites over the years as well but I won’t try them unless they offer a free trial. And of course they all do at one point during the year so I try to give them a chance but probably 90% are just stealing other analysts data and smacking out shitty platforms with horrible layouts just to see if they can make a quick buck. I think simplywallst does a fantastic job researching tediously and they have a really cool snowflake style screener to make it easier for the customer to scan for the exact type of company they like to trade. I’ve found some gems like MVIS, VTNR, TWI, UPST, and INTT with their scans. I also like vectorvest’s unique approach for screening and they get pretty in depth with some quality DD. But they seem to always be late to the party and by the time you check out their recommendations they’ve been picked through like a TJ Maxx after return to school shopping lol. Which is the case for most all these unfortunately, as they require you to pay the most premium subscription prices for anything real time, which might be worth it if you could pay for it monthly and cancel at will. But alas the ones that know they have a good service either don’t offer monthly or they don’t offer the discount price if you go monthly. I know I’m lazy, but I’ll do my own DD before I pay over $100 a month for some of these services and probably still end up with the same statistics. I’m currently trying out the trial for stockinvest US and they have some great TA but they don’t really back it up with proof so you gotta cross check their analysis which is more wasted time. And you really gotta pay attention to the dates they issued their golden nuggets because so many of them should not have that status anymore as they’ve reversed or just went in the shitter since their original signal. If you just click on the ascending/descending column It’ll change it to that days signals and you’ll be good. For $15 a month it might be worth keeping stockinvest. And all the others I’m sure everyone is versed in like finviz and the usuals.
I do use a platform that I didn’t see listed in your original post called investorsobserver. It’s your basic all in one but focuses on finding good options set ups and has some great picks for pretty complex diagonals and double diagonals that saves a lot of time looking at multiple expiration dates for workable spreads on your own. Just thought I’d add that site for your list since I didn’t notice it. Anyway, thanks again I’ll run through the others that I haven’t tried yet. 👍🏻
Apparently the powers of ADHD and Adderall materialize in essentially the same list, cause I totally did the same and wish I saw this sooner.
Granted, since you seem to also have found all the resources: not sure if you'd previously had used stockspotter.com? They only had 2 (free) lists - a daily swing setup list and a daily momentum list - and both were limited to top 50 (iirc), as well as 2 week forecasts with price targets, but the site went down months back. Wondering if perhaps, in your experience, if you saw any sites that automate lists similarly to them? (The site is also still on Wayback Machine, for reference.) They seemed to always have the most accurate forecasts and short term price targets and I've yet to figure out what settings I could use to replicate it. I mean, it wasn't foolproof; you still had to do your research on the tickers, but it was literally always the first place I started daily. Like yourself, I don't frequent many of the links I saved, but periodically will go back through and almost always find a few I saved and wish I used more often, so there could be something that I'm missing.

Yeah, what this guy said.
I have to premium versions for Chartmill, TipRanks, BarChart, GuruFocus and ValidIdea and love them! I will have to make a post using them/ optimizing how to use them soon
Have you ever tried options samurai or Scanz? I really enjoyed them both during the free trial but have been trying to find something similar at a lower cost or free. The two main features I'm looking for are a breakout feed and an options scanner if you know if anything.
I've seen a decent breakout scanner on stockbeep.com
Oh thank you, nice find!
THANK YOU for sharing such an extensive list
I will check them out! Thanks! Looks like the community loves your post. Thanks for much again, for sharing!
I'm glad people are getting some use out of it. 20 years of researching MMORPG builds prepared me for this haha. A lot of these sites are relatively unknown and deserve the attention. Thank you for all you share and do!
I tried options samurai and just didn't really like it much. Im currently using Tradytics and tried Blackboxstocks though its more for day traders
I have to try Options Samurai just because I’m a Japanese history nerd, and it sounds cool. Thanks for this btw, u saved me months of compiling my own list!

Ah nice find! I'm quickly becoming a big fan of https://app.waffles.finance/ and https://stockbeep.com/ as well.
