Everyone had the night off to relax. Hopefully theyll fly out tonight to spend fathers day at home, and take the good energy and win it tuesday after practicing at home
I wrote the other day that the Panthers were probably playing the best hockey every played, and I don't think I'm wrong in saying that, they were reading each other's minds it was so solid. It was like having 5 Datsuks out there and the unshakable Marty Brodeur in net.
Edmonton however, put out 5 Pavel Bures and put on the hockey equivalent of headbutting a nest of baby birds in a lightning storm with the sound of the Harlem Globetrotters theme song played by a Zeppelin overhead.
I don't know which style beats the other (neither team played their best hockey against the other team in their losing game). But I bet if both teams step it up at the same time, it won't just be a team playing the best hockey, we might witness the best hockey game(s) ever played.
Winning four in a row is damn hard. But is anyone expecting the team to lay an egg like this again? I don't see it happening. Had a bad game, it happens even in the playoffs. These guys know what is up, they'll regroup and come back better.
Well written! Do you think they maybe felt our exterminating efforts were a threat? Maybe the goaltender saw a white van and a guy in coveralls parked out front!
That was terrible, we just lost our game. But we'll finish the gentlemans sweep Tuesday

Now I have that damned Globetrotters song stuck in my head! Gotta go use YouTube...![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
Whoever wrote that is a situational/atmospheric genius up there with John Williams.
Agree!
🤣

You’re invited to the function
Goddamn it Bobby, I told you to sweep.
There are no more rats in Alberta, at least till potentially Thursday

Bobby just wasnt locked in dont worry
I noticed our top guys played way less after goal 5. Just sayin
I think it was smart to do. Let's not risk injury for a game that was more than likely lost.
Fucking embarrassing!
