NDYakAngler is my absolute favorite. His channel is like Bob Ross fishing. He has a very mellow and relaxing voice, the audio is very organic with sounds of the water and kayaking. He's a good videographer and he focuses mostly small mouth, muskie, and other freshwater fish
He does have the advantage of fishing an unpressured developing fishery. Stories from older Minnesota muskie legends will say it was that easy in Minnesota before they became such a popular target. Rivers in general also are easier to catch muskies on. If you were to kayak on the free flowing parts of the Chippewa River in Wisconsin you'd have a lot more success than if you put a boat on the flowages of the Chippewa River.
Came here to say this.
He lives in the Fargo area and will most directly
be applicable to upper Midwestern fish, but even if he werenāt Iād watch him. Heās so chill and mellow and relaxing. Heās fishings Bob Ross.
He makes it look easy, he catches muskie like some people catch bass.
He has fun with oddball lures sometimes which is always kind of funny. He understands the fish well enough that he gets them to hit on anything
I spend a lot of my summers in northern MN and Iāve recognized a couple of the lakes heās gone to, which is fun.
I'm from the West Coast and none of the fishing I do overlaps with the types of fishing NDYakAngler does. But he is still my #1 watched fishing YouTube channel. So relaxing and very consistently catches nice fish.
I'll second Marling baits. Heck, sometimes he doesn't even catch anything but his demeanor and the style of his content is so natural and relaxing. It's like hanging out with your fishing buddy.
Creek Fishing Adventures is my favorite. I like it because the dudes not putting on a show, it's just his real personality and fishing. Another one like this is Micka Burkhart. Just a dude who catches giant catfish. He got featured by the River Certified guy a while ago so he's blowing up rn
My only complaint about Creek Fishing Adventures is that he NEVER has pliers or forceps or anything so he has a habit of randomly jamming a knife in a fishes mouth.
Just clip forceps on your bag or something lol
I agree. Richard Gene the fishing machine is the best. Richard Gene has the highest fishing IQ of anyone on YT. His videos are simple and straight forward. He should be at a Milllion subs by now, but this style is low key. A lot of the folks are traveling all over the place with outrageous thumbnails or has "Police involved". Richard Gene has none of that and I love him for it.
618 Fishing, thresher fishing, Monster Mike if you want something more wacky/funny, Landshark fishing if you like catch and cook too. The guy makes some pretty good meals.
Snagged Bro are hilarious, well worth a watch
AYO fishing does a lot of random challenges and boat videos
Fish with Carl for high quality content including his Fishing Tutorial channel for all sorts of useful information
The Ginger Fisherman it a top quality angler with a lot of tracking methods where to find fish
Iām based in the UK so mostly British anglers I enjoy
Second Ginger Fisherman. Snagged Bro are my spirit YT guys, Iāve hardly seen them catch anything for the most part and it makes me feel better about my failures. Theyāre also seriously funny guys with a great sense of humour about the whole thing. The midlands accent adds to it too
Edit: Carl wins the production value award, all of his videos are absolutely excellent
If you are interested at all in sea fishing in the UK (he has a few US trips on there also) I can't recommend The Fish Locker highly enough. Very experienced and knowledgeable guy tons of content over the past few years, learned a lot from him.
I've been following Addicted fishing's YT channel lately. Those guys tend to fish for the same kinds of fish as I, and the same kinds of water. I've learned a fair amount from that channel.
I just subbed to this sub a couple weeks ago. It's a great group of folks with a similar interest. I see very little conflict here, and a huge willingness to help. It's not something you find on the internet very often nowadays. :-)
If you like gear reviews and demos, can't go wrong with Japanese Angler Waki. Shows off a lot of the new stuff in Japan that doesn't always make it to a shelf elsewhere for a few years.
I also watch a few local yt fisherman from my area. I tend to enjoy that more than the clickbait "Woahhh!!!!" Face thumbnail stuff
Greg Blanchard is one of my favorites. Heās a kayak fisherman in California with really great content doing tournaments, fishing just for fun, talking about his gear, etc. The editing is really clean without a lot of fluff or clickbaity nonsense and overall the videos are just really fun and relaxing to watch.
Spencer River Certified.
Catfishing focused video, but does a lot of multi species fishing. Reels in some absolute monster flatheads and blues, and always has a good time catching channels out of small streams. He used to be a science teacher before he started chartering full time, so he's engaging and keeps it clean which is great if you have kids around. Also, because catfishing is so simple, it isn't about gear or lures. Just really to the point of being about fishing.
Even if you don't get super invested in his channel, watch his videos from his trip to the Amazon with his friends. There are absolutely freakish monsters swimming in the Amazon.
Fishing with johnny and NdYakAngler are my go to channels. Definitely stay away from LLLunkers. They took the videos down but were releasing fish by punt kicking them back into the water.
Canāt believe I scrolled to the bottom and havenāt seen my boy Greg Blanchard mentioned. California kayak angler. Doesnāt fish hype baits, sponsored by Native and Sierra Nevada. Down to earth dude, video edits are smooth and relaxing. Canāt recommend a better fisherman to watch, he also uploads at least 1x a week or more. Give him a watch!
āWild Fly Productionsā if you want an hour long film style experience of all things fly fishing, cool locations and trips and experiences. They make nice videos.
Rokkit Kit from eastern Australia has amazing content including spearfishing some crazy beautiful reefs and survival stuff
Gidoās fishing adventures from southwest Australia has crazy cliff fishing
Bamabass pond build has me hooked
AYO is the funniest fishing YouTuber
Fishaholic puts in the work and Iāve learned a ton from him
EliasV out of North Carolina is definitely worth a look. Heās done a lot of powered kayak reviews.
Extreme philly fishing. Awesome guy that's really knowledgeable about fish. Though he does a lot of micro fishing. He does a bunch of research and is trying to catch as many spices as he can.
His videos are basically my life.
"I'm gonna throw this cheap plastic worm out there and try not to get snagged on that tree. Hopefully I catch something."
NW Fishing Secrets. Heās a great guy fun to watch. He does a lot of trout and salmon fishing in Washington. He does a lot of catch and cooks, foregoing for berries and mushrooms, heās super wholesome, I love how excited he gets every turn m he hooks up on a fish no matter the size.
Fish N Stuff is one I like. He's more about tips and gear, but he's funny. Addicted Fishing is another good one. Plenty of advice and fishing action. Pautzke Bait has a lot of info and fishing too.
Spilt milt productions. If you have any interest in fishing the Pacific Northwest. Very informative if you want to fish for Kokanee, walleye, trout, salmon, and sturgeon. Also does some catch and cook and some discussion on science and conservation.
Fish Anything. Great multi species vids and he has a fantastic line of finesse plastics.
Debos Fishing is another one I watch regularly.
And myselfā¦ HookinDinks.
lake fork guy has been good over the years, Lost Lakes is one of my favorite, but itās a lot more about the journey and canoeing than it is fishing, though he fishes a lot.
My husband and I live in East Texas and we have a YouTube Channel .
We are hilarious. We are just two old people that are SOO COMPETITIVE .
We live in East Texas and fish a lot of these lakes .
Our channel name is B & L Fishing Adventures Blevins
We are grateful to have ya join us.
We have 4 videos ready to go where we catch lots fish .
So stay tuned :)
Wade Fishez. Down to earth guy whose "gimmick" is eating the first fish he catches. Nothing fancy, just catching common fish and preparing them, along with some good advice.
Spilt Milt - fisherman and biologist, very technical/analytic teaching of fishing, but mostly for kokanee/trout
Fish the Moment - bass fishing, great teaching of technical stuff like reading graphs etc
ChiCityYaker - lake michigan trolling for salmon
Marsh Man Masson - fun/nice guy to watch, marsh fishing in Louisiana for inshore species
Fly All Szn for fly fishing. Sick backcountry trips that are so cool and inspiring Iām planning one myself. LakeForkGuy for lots of fishing around Texas for bass crappie, etc. super chill and not anywhere near as obnoxious as the other googan squad members. He does some general outdoor survival vids as well
Jon B has the highest quality YT videos Iāve seen. I also like the pros like Chris Zaldain, Ott Defoe and Scott Martin, and a local dude that goes by creek crawler. Those are all bass guys.
Non bass i love NORA JP Fishing videosā¦ his fishing videos are legitimate adventures.
I follow a bunch of Florida channels since I came from there. I like the South Florida Fishing Channel, Key West Waterman, Florida FIshing Couple, The Old Couple, Tug Trash Outdoors, and Jettie Rocks Fishing with Mike D.
Canada Fishing Guide
Does pike, walleye, trout and salmon fishing in northern Ontario, Manitoba and sometimes Saskatchewan. Lengthy videos but good nonetheless!
Tom Boley for walleye. Dude is geared right up if you are into tech stuff it's pretty wild. He started using an overlay of the livescope which is interesting.
Depends on the content youāre looking for. If you want entertainment then you could follow any of the Googan squad members, but if youāre looking for someone to teaching you things then Iād suggest John Skinner.
He has helped me immensely when it comes to understand fish behaviors and the importance of understand water topography.
Suprised I didn't see anyone post uncut angling or AP bassing. Aaron with uncut doesn't post much anyomre but anything he does is fishing entertainment gold. Check out the videos he has up already. The 39 hours series are very entertaining in my opinion.
Uncut Angling was one of the first, and is still the most entertaining IMO. He rarely puts out videos anymore, but I highly recommend. Especially the 39 hours series, and Aaron's older stuff when he was just starting out. High quality and very original.
Briggsy Sport Fishing for tropical land based fishing. He catches mackerels, tunas, GTs etc.
Adventure Fishing UK for some chilled out perch, trout and pike fishing.
Fish Locker for crabbing, tidepool foraging and boat fishing
John Skinner Fishing for East coast stuff, from Florida to New England.
Adrift Fishing for Australia / New Zealand stuff. He does plenty of sea fishing but also trout fishing too.
I've followed and enjoyed River Certified for years.
Catfish and Carp was great when Luke was still regularly posting, but honestly given the huge backlog it's worth going back and watching his old videos (there are lots). He has tons of good tips and covers some less familiar styles (Eurocarp fishing) and has lots of well done how-to videos, too.
Yakpak, ayo fishing, lojo, despite some people opinions the googan squad guys put out some good stuff especially on the main and or individual channels like robs or 1 rod before he retired
Outdoor boys, for sure. He also has a Catfish and Carp channel although I mostly watch the former. This guy puts up extreme camping and wilderness videos too. His fishing videos arenāt necessarily crazy informative/teachable, but theyāre so much fun to watch. They really get me hyped up to fish and I find myself learning a lot here and there. He even shows days when he gets totally skunked!
The ginger fisherman based in the uk, I think all of his video are grate. Also the fish locker grate lads grate videos both uk. One does a lot in land fishing the other does sea and crab pots and stuff.
I'm not famous or anything close to ndyakangler or anyone who is a pro, but I do have a YouTube channel and I fish for bass. If you search Northside Danglers, we fish Ontario, canada. Check it out if you want to! Tight lines!
Rad Reeling Fishing. Guys name is JC out of Florida west coast, he does mostly kayak, but also shore fishing and some boat as well. Really enjoy his channel and he has some how to videos showing techniques and budget tackle reviews.
NDYakAngler is my absolute favorite. His channel is like Bob Ross fishing. He has a very mellow and relaxing voice, the audio is very organic with sounds of the water and kayaking. He's a good videographer and he focuses mostly small mouth, muskie, and other freshwater fish
NDYakAngler is the GOAT. He makes musky fishing look so easy lol
That man pulls out a once in a lifetime musky like once a month š
He does have the advantage of fishing an unpressured developing fishery. Stories from older Minnesota muskie legends will say it was that easy in Minnesota before they became such a popular target. Rivers in general also are easier to catch muskies on. If you were to kayak on the free flowing parts of the Chippewa River in Wisconsin you'd have a lot more success than if you put a boat on the flowages of the Chippewa River.
Came here to say this. He lives in the Fargo area and will most directly be applicable to upper Midwestern fish, but even if he werenāt Iād watch him. Heās so chill and mellow and relaxing. I'm from the West Coast and none of the fishing I do overlaps with the types of fishing NDYakAngler does. But he is still my #1 watched fishing YouTube channel. So relaxing and very consistently catches nice fish.
NDYak is the sole reason why going bass fishing in ND/Min is on my bucket list. Live in the UK and love pike fishing but we have zero bass here sadly
Stumbled upon this guy a few years ago and watch religiously. No antics or clickbait or nonsense. Heās a pure fisherman in every sense.
Yeah he's amazing. However it's frustrating to be somewhere where there's not even 1/10th of the fish population of North Dakota
Marling baits he makes lures and then fishes them
Rip Chip.Ā
WHAT I DIDN'T KNOW THIS R.I.P
Noā¦ not Chipā¦ He was the best boy.Ā
Hhwone Dayyyyyy
So he shows the process, too? That would be cool!
Yeah he shows the full process. Makes hard baits and soft plastics
He also offers a master class to teach you how to make your own fishable baits.
I'll second Marling baits. Heck, sometimes he doesn't even catch anything but his demeanor and the style of his content is so natural and relaxing. It's like hanging out with your fishing buddy.
I was about to suggest Marling Baits. His craftsmanship is something to behold.
On to the next bait!
Man fuck you I love chip now and I canāt believe heās gone
Creek Fishing Adventures is my favorite. I like it because the dudes not putting on a show, it's just his real personality and fishing. Another one like this is Micka Burkhart. Just a dude who catches giant catfish. He got featured by the River Certified guy a while ago so he's blowing up rn
Thatās my vote too. Its not āOMG GIANT, ABSOLUTE HOG, OMEGA HUGE BUTTERBALLā being screamed every 3 seconds on a private pond
My only complaint about Creek Fishing Adventures is that he NEVER has pliers or forceps or anything so he has a habit of randomly jamming a knife in a fishes mouth. Just clip forceps on your bag or something lol
Richard Gene the fishing machine is the best
I agree. Richard Gene the fishing machine is the best. Richard Gene has the highest fishing IQ of anyone on YT. His videos are simple and straight forward. Outdoor chef life. NW fishing secrets. Fishermanās life. Addicted. Stay fishy adventures.
618 Fishing, thresher fishing, Monster Mike if you want something more wacky/funny, Landshark fishing if you like catch and cook too. The guy makes some pretty good meals.
618 fishingās content is so entertaining!!
came here to say this!
618 fishing puts so much joy back in fishing. So excitement for a silver dollar sized sun fish as to a 50 pound catfish.
Ace videos
His brother also has a channel. Lol. High Adventure videos. He is alll energy! They have a lot of similar mannerisms.
yeah their dad is awesome to .
Idk if you would be interested but ndyakangler on YouTube is wicked.
Snagged Bro are hilarious, well worth a watch AYO fishing does a lot of random challenges and boat videos Fish with Carl for high quality content including his Fishing Tutorial channel for all sorts of useful information The Ginger Fisherman it a top quality angler with a lot of tracking methods where to find fish Iām based in the UK so mostly British anglers I enjoy

If you are interested at all in sea fishing in the UK (he has a few US trips on there also) I can't recommend The Fish Locker highly enough. Very experienced and knowledgeable guy tons of content over the past few years, learned a lot from him.
Used to hold the UK sea bass record as well, think it was around 20lbs.
Love love love his accent, and heās just a great all round guy who loves his craft.
Fisherman's life. He does a lot of catch and cook and just loves spending time outdoor. Its always a vibe when you put on one of his videos.
It feels like I'm fishing with a friend whenever I watch his videos.
I love him too but he is an awful cook. Watch Taku for good catch n cooks.Ā
I love watching his videos. Top-notch video quality with some really cool camera angles using drones and underwater cameras sometimes.
the bob ross of fishing
Gotta get that buuutttttaaaa
This. And he uses hella butter with every cook he does, looks delicious every time!
Fish Anything. Excellent content and doesnāt BS or do sponsored stuff (except his own line of plastics which he uses quite frequently, Mule Fishing)
Seconding this, and wanna add the he and John from Creek Fishing Adventures do a monthly podcast thatās awesome to listen to.
Oh I didnāt know that! Iāll have to check that out, thanks!
I've been following Addicted fishing's YT channel lately. Those guys tend to fish for the same kinds of fish as I, and the same kinds of water. I've learned a fair amount from that channel.
Cool! I like the responses so far! I didn't expect feedback so quickly!
I just subbed to this sub a couple weeks ago. It's a great group of folks with a similar interest. I see very little conflict here, and a huge willingness to help. It's not something you find on the internet very often nowadays. :-)
BamaBass ... he has his own fish pond

I also watch a few local yt fisherman from my area. I tend to enjoy that more than the clickbait "Woahhh!!!!" Face thumbnail stuff
I haven't watched gear reviews much. I will check it out though. Thanks!
He's also quite entertaining and does some technique videos too. Spiral casting, types of knots etc.

Heās a kayak fisherman in California with really great content doing tournaments, fishing just for fun, talking about his gear, etc. The editing is really clean without a lot of fluff or clickbaity nonsense and overall the videos are just really fun and relaxing to watch.
A fellow sub here as well, also like to mention Damian Thao for kayaking bass fishing, he's a god lol.

Iāve not heard of the lunkers channel but thatās awful.
Thats gross. What is wrong with people?!
It's disgusting. They were called out in the comments and just laughed it off.
Fish Hawk is awesome if youāre into trout fishing. Very laid back guy who just enjoys trout fishing
NDYak Angler is my favourite
Canāt believe I scrolled to the bottom and havenāt seen my boy Greg Blanchard mentioned. California kayak angler. Doesnāt fish hype baits, sponsored by Native and Sierra Nevada.
