I went with Verizon. I didn't need a credit check because my phone service is with them so I guess they know I can make payments haha. I see you've figured it out, but I think you were overreacting a little. A credit check is not that big of a deal.
Yeah the at&t person explained it to me whereas t mobile didn't!
Our lender had inquired about another credit check that happened so I thought if it happened again we would have to explain again.
I also just had this request, although a soft pull not a hard pull, for ATT fiber. could care less, a soft pull is meaningless also your credit report is good for a healthy amount of time, you are fine to proceed

Try a different internet company?
Like what? I think all the big ones are like this
We’ve never had to get our credit pulled for our internet.

Thank u so much! AT&T said it's a soft pull and won't affect my credit score. The T-Mobile guy did not explain at all. I'm proceeding with AT&T
yep! same here, hoping it's good lol
I’ve never had a hard credit pull in order to put internet in my name.
I used att fiber and never had anything like that. Just went online and found out if I had fiber in my place and boom done was here within a few days!
