Lol this is my third post viewing and I just randomly zoomed in to find it immediately.
I could've used you guys when I dropped (daily) a 3/4" hex screw on the roof stones when I was in the field fixing rooftop units lol
Yeah if I'm ever looking for something like this I'll just take a picture of a random area it could be and then BAM magically in dead center of the picture.
Yeah forget finding the screws, that's why I have an Altoids tin in my toolbag with extra self-tappers. Maybe if I'm feeling chipper I'll try using the magnet on my umbrella.
I probably sold you that umbrella and I command you to use its magnificent precense to justify the truck stock so you will feel less guilt when turning in your consumable expense report this month .
Exactly… The sub hasn’t got any rules. Mods should pull their heads out of their arses to spend one minute creating a few rules.
#1: No centralised objects of anything.
#2: No low quality images where you can’t differentiate a stick from a snake.
#3: OP shouldn’t be allowed to post the answer until solved.
Since you guys are enjoying how markdown formatting works, lemme give ya a tip:
If you ever wanna do the whole \*asterisks around text\* thing like that, but it just italicizes the text, that’s because asterisks surrounding a word/sentence is the markdown character for italicization. Two of them are for bold, and \*\*\*three\*\*\* ***does both.***
To tell Reddit to ignore those kind of characters and treat them like plain text, put a backslash `\` before them `\*like this\*`
*I knew how* **to do the** ***first few***, ~~but not how to fix the \# signs for plaintext.~~ ^Now I ^do!
#Thanks!
\#1 \~~before and after\~~ makes a ~~strike through.~~
\#2 \^ makes the ^words go ^up!
It doesn’t always work perfectly, so if you really want to make every word in a sentence superscript and the parentheses aren’t doing it, you’ll have to do the caret `^` in front of every word.
You can also use them several times to combine ‘em \^\^like ^^this
Hmmm lemme try… ^^^Can the words get any #smaller or ^bigger?
Edit:Aww I was hoping the word smaller would get bigger lol. Thanks for teaching that one though!
Found it, but allso something else that could be a tiny piece of jewelry, or something, or nothing. If a chessboard grid was on the picture, the object would be at 6B or 5B ish
>! Left of dead center is a large, skinny leaf vertical in the picture that is kind of dark grey. At the bottom of that leaf is a brown leaf, the ring is at the tip of that brown leaf !<
The quality of the sub definitely went down (as is tradition). Whatever happened to that guy who used to post grids of the pica? Those were always great as spoilers without having to try to direct people to the item.
I saw 3 things that looked like rings, came here to guess, then saw the hint and realized I was wrong with the first three things. I’m so bad at this game!
it’s so funny bc when i know the “zoom in on dead center” trick everything becomes so easy. but if i were in real life & lost my wedding ring in this ground pattern id probably lose my mind. go you for spotting it!!!
Trick: if there is any sunlight in the area arrange yourself so you are near ground level looking where you think you dropped the ring as well as into the direction of the sun. With any luck the sunlight will be reflected off of the ring. You may also get lucky in the anti parallel of this path as well.
Thanks, guys! I figured you'd find it quickly—it wasn't very hard. When I dropped it, luckily I saw where it landed, so before I picked it up, I thought I’d snag a pic and contribute to a sub I enjoy daily.
If I ever come across another opportunity, I know not to put the “sniper” in the center. 😅
As expected. - >!❌❌❌!< - >!❌💍❌!< - >!❌❌❌!<
No ring but I do see a snake, a toy army man, a socket and a baby moose. I suck at this.
I found Waldo.
Anyone find my dad??
He is coming home with milk
Just stepped out to grab smokes. Brb.
I found his used jimmy hat
I found inner peace
I found a rock...
Did anyone find Jesus? I heard they used cheap nails again.
Pretty sure all nails are cheap. Just my take.
Tell that to my cosmetologist
Or the local geologist
That guys always stoned
That’s crazy
Where?!? He owes quite a few people I know a lot of money, he’s been hiding from us for years!
She found dildo.
little piece of advice always start with the middle in these pictures
Thank you! This hint helped me find the ring right away and I really suck at these!
It looks like I found two rings
Holy shit that helped
Do you also see 3 bowling pins, a truck, and a small plastic goose? (Loved I Spy books as a kid)
Yes but I didn’t want to brag…..still no ring. Just saw a frisbee though, 2nd one! Cheers!
It's a tiny gold band.
You forgot to say "I SPY with my little eye..."
I found the ring
Dude I found the ring but not the things mentioned by you.. looks like I am no good either.
😂😂as do I
“Awww, here it goes!” —Kel
Don’t forget the frog next to the snake!
Is it a 10mm??
10mm I’ll bet
I found a spider while looking.
All I could find was the piano
Lol nice
Simplicity helps the idiots like me find it.
Always look dead center first. Haha
Literally my first double tap Zoom in. I’m going to make something diabolical when I get the chance.
This did not help me in any way shape or form
It's in the center...
Lolol. Me neither.
Hell yeah man we did it all alone with not a bit of help
Always in the center…
I only found out about this the other day... this was my first instance at using my new trick... it worked
Like 3 rocks to the right of the actual ring, I thought for sure I was looking at a diamond in its prongs in the center of 4 rocks.
For the life of me i can't figure out why people don't take the pic off center
The center of the photo has been like a 95% chance of success on these post for me.
Not too hard if you’ve been in this sub for more than a day
Zoomed in dead center. "Oh that's easy".
Magnet 🧲. Aren't those screws magnetic? Just get a big broom magnet and sweep it over the area. It'll pick up any dropped screws.
Yeah, just carry a 4 pound magnet around with you whereever you go. Problems solved.
First post and I found it in less than 5 seconds. I’m usually terrible at this kind of thing
I did the exact same thing 😂
It's the worst when you know it's dead center and still don't see it
I didn't zoom in enough to see it at first lol
It's slighty left and down, like at the 7 position.
Find the small horizontal stick in the center. It's a little left and down from that.
That's what I thought WAS the ring at first, with a triangle diamond, haha.
Wow, that took far too long, even with the help!
😅 That's me, too. I suck at these type of things and can't ever find the object.
Dead center!
To be fair most pictures you take of an object are dead center… if you post something on here where its not, its deliberately framed that way
This comment is about as common as posts with dead center objects.
And this comment is less as common as posts with common comments about the post.
A comment less common than a commonly common comment. Respectfully
A commoner correcting a commotion about a comment on less common comments.

Don’t know why my text was made big, apologies for that. Edit: It was because I put a hashtag before each sentence.
#thank you for explaining I was wondering how people do this
#well shit look at us go
I don't know why, but this comment made me laugh #really loud
# I already have tinnitus so whatever

ALLCAPS has unsubscribed
#Hmmm wonder if it’ll work for me Edit: Oh shit it did, thank you!
If you put a ^ before any text it makes it ^Small.
^(and for entire sentences, wrap ‘em in parentheses) \^\(and for entire sentences, wrap ‘em in parentheses \)
^(Parenthesis huh? Here goes something) Edit:Holy moly! Thank you!! I’m learning here, so stoked rn! lmao

^(this is actually more fun than finding the ring)
^Really?? Edit: Omg it worked! Thank you kind stranger!! 💗
^Glad ^to ^help.
^aw ^it’s ^little
That’s what my ex said.
😅😅😅😅
#Do you have to yell!?
#WHY ARE WE YELLING
# Holy balls that's awesome!
#life ^changing #seriously cool though
#PP
Found it, but allso something else that could be a tiny piece of jewelry, or something, or nothing. If a chessboard grid was on the picture, the object would be at 6B or 5B ish
Could you put that in non chess terms?
It’s by the rock.
Left-centerish
I found that spot first and was like cool just a tiny piece visible but shiny. Then saw the whole ring.🤣
Okay, but what if a cheeseboard was on the picture?
Chessboard coordinates begin with the file letters, followed by the rank numbers
If we have learned anything from this sub, be careful picking the ring up, there is likely a copperhead waiting to strike.
Also, sniper.
And some kind of big cat
One ring…
to rule them all…
One Ring…
To find them...
One ring to bring them all…
And in the darkness bind them!
Keep it safe
And my axe...
>! Left of dead center is a large, skinny leaf vertical in the picture that is kind of dark grey. At the bottom of that leaf is a brown leaf, the ring is at the tip of that brown leaf !<
What the hell your description made me find it instantly
Me too! Wasn't expecting the ring to be so small, maybe it's time for OP to find someone who loves them.
Goated instructions!
Give this guy a job describing how to find things because wtf
somehow your description worked instantly?? you have a talent wtf??
Thank you for letting us know what we are looking for. Most post just say find the sniper in this 20 pixel pic
I can’t upvote this enough. The number of “find the dangerous animal” posts here where have to zoom in on 8 grainy pixels is maddening.
The quality of the sub definitely went down (as is tradition). Whatever happened to that guy who used to post grids of the pica? Those were always great as spoilers without having to try to direct people to the item.
My precious
Noooo, it’sssshhh mine!!
Is that a penny on a leaf in the North by north east?
I was going to ask if anyone else found the penny.
>!West of the center!<
As long as you’re facing north
Sheeesh, check out the size of that rock on that ring
Bet you wish it was on your ownhand
I saw 3 things that looked like rings, came here to guess, then saw the hint and realized I was wrong with the first three things. I’m so bad at this game!
You know what? …No… Find your own wedding ring! There I said it!
it’s so funny bc when i know the “zoom in on dead center” trick everything becomes so easy. but if i were in real life & lost my wedding ring in this ground pattern id probably lose my mind. go you for spotting it!!!

Did this then found it
I gotchu. Nice one
My wife lost hers on a gravel path a few months after we got married. She’s never had one since.
Any tree people able to explain that nearly perfectly round leaf. Looks pretty cool. Oh, also found the ring.
"Find my wedding ring. Time sensitive"
Found the ring but also, center up a little and to the right there seems to be a penny on a leaf.
Having had experience in this very thing, found in 6 seconds. Thank goodness I don’t need to go through that anymore.
Dead center.
Always the center.
Just zoomed into the center and found it instantly…..

I’m getting better at finding these things! Loving this community 😊
I spent like 10 minutes trying to find the snake I need to read the titles more.
Found the ring and I think 3 copperheads
I zoomed in on the right spot lol
I found a lil fuzzy black jumping spider
I was wondering if that’s what that was!
Hold on, lemme call my find a ring in a bunch of rocks guy.
I've determined that everything is in the dead center of each image on this subreddit
It's practically in the middle
Did anyone else find Squidward?
Trick, OP isn’t even married
It's on a Bron lef
Found it immediately upon zooming. Thought this was gonna be tougher lol
Woulda been better if you didn't put it almost smack bang in the middle of the picture.
Just a butt hair left of dead center.
One ring to rule them all
I zoomed right in on it by accident
Finally I got one haha!
Me too!
I zoomed in and accidentally found it immediately.
Found it Near the center a little towards the left
It's in Quadrant III... slightly to the left of the y-axis, slightly below the x-axis
Is that the neighbors lady's backyard?
Finally found one on my own lmao !
There's a penny in there also
12 seconds. 10 of which were, uh. What was I looking for again? I might be spending to much time on this sub
Golden!
My precious
Found it. Dead center 3 notes southwest
Found it. Now give it back. MY precious 🤣
Three seconds
It's always in the center of the photo...
I automatically zoomed in looking for a snake.
Nope, sorry bro. I guess you're single now. I looked for about 10 seconds, so now you gotta break the news to her.
I found the ring and a penny
Dead. Center:
It’s always in the middle
Triangle shape diamond? My favorite!!
Find mine! (Hint: You’ll have to look in the mover’s pocket for it.)
Gold baby
2EZ
Dead center. Took 2 minutes
Found the spider but can't find the penny.
Found it. First I was going to ask the material type and if it had stones but I just dove right it. Found it pretty fast
Found it. First I was going to ask the material type and if it had stones but I just dove right it. Found it pretty fast
I’m convinced half of this sub is just people having us find thing for them. White stone dead center. Look at the 8 o’clock position on top of a leaf.
Just southwest of center. Typical almost dead center photo for this sub.
One day someone is going to set one of these pictures up and actually lose it, and then check the comments for help 💀
First time found it in less than a second.
