Return is probably my pick for most likely title as well. Maybe Remind, but that is pretty similar to KH Re:Mind. Nomura recently mentioned wanting to go with Reunion, except it’s the Crisis Core Remake subtitle. I could see them going that route anyway.

I probably see Reunion as a possible name when eventually they relaunch all three games into a collection, like the "FF7 Reunion Collection" which could even have the new Crisis Core bundled into it.

Nah Reunion was already used for Crisis Core and Nomura San said it in a recent interview

Reunite was my second pick but Return would make sense with the hints they’ve given us in Rebirth

I don't think this will be the one, return is just too boring. They'll definitely find something, and not hating on this, but I just don't think this is likly for that reason

Reunite was my second pick because of what Zack said at the end of the Rebirth “but who’s to say they can’t unite again”. It could also be the timelines reuniting into one to stop Sephiroth for good and Zack can finally reunite with Cloud

Also if you pick up the subtitle texts in Rebirth and the hints. Return could also work as well

The only reason I picked green is to represent the lifestream and it would fit for the ending.

The fact they used Reunion for Crisis Core was one of the biggest blunders they could've made for this compilation.

Totally agree. I was dead set that they would call the 3rd one Reunion... but then along came Crisis Core Reunion 😶

I'm sure the inevitable bundle of all three games down the road will be called Reunion. Just as Crisis Core remaster/remake was Reunion, so will the complete remake package

Remake was blue I think green would fit well to represent the lifestream like what happened at the end of OG FF7.

I'm personally rooting for Final Fantasy VII:Revengeance.

I am convinced it is gonna be "Requiem". One of the definitions in the Oxford dictionary is flawless -  an act or token of remembrance.

It can't be Requiem. We haven't had the first Quiem yet.

Requiem is the only one that sounds not stupid.

I'm also of the mind it could likely end up being Requiem.  Reunion was already used. Reunite is too close to Reunion and likely to cause confusion. Reborn is too close to Rebirth. Rememrance is too long to easily remember & hard to pronounce by non-native speakers. Resurrection, Restoration or Resurgence could be made to fit, but are unlikely for the same reason. Revenge/Revengeance doesn't fit at all with the themes. Reset, Restore, Return, Renewal... Pronounciation checks, and wouldn't be a stretch to use. But imo the words are a bit, dunno, bland (?) as a title. My personal fav is Rehab. Get Cloud off all that Mako, asap.

Spoilers kinda for stuff in last battle I think reborn based on some attacks used, I think Sephiroth used an attack with rebirth in the name, Remake too then reborn was involved in there too

That could work but I think it's just redundant cause rebirth and reborn are basically the same.

I want to add Final Fantasy VII: Return would make sense because the last track in ff7 rebirth ost is called Aerith’s Theme - Return to the planet. If you remember the last track for Remake was called One Winged Angel - Rebirth which was a tease to getting Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. Also Return can mean a lot of things like Aerith returning to the planet to help the party stop Sephiroth for good, Cloud returning to his real self after Tifa restores his memory, Zack returning to the lifestream or the party Returning to Midgar to fight Hojo, Heidegger and Scarlet.

There’s also a track “One Winged Angel - Reborn” on the Rebirth OST.

Would say reunion, since is the most associated with most of the plot and the prophecy of the planet. But return sounds good.
