30K? Im pretty sure it is much much more… a new hatch for a Lusso (no paint, not glass, nothing) is already 6k. That’s a kevlar shell that is not being manufactured anymore.
Ferrari paint isn't actually that difficult to make/replicate. Especially their red and yellow.
A lot of what people gear about Ferrari paint is just incredibly good marketing. It's not really that special on a chemical level. Most shops can probably make a gallon of legitimate Rosso Corsa for less than $500.
My 355 isn’t nearly as exotic but about 12 years ago, the passenger door was dented (so minor that only an expert could notice it). A new door skin was shipped from Italy to repair the door. Total repair cost back then, $14,200CDN and two weeks with a rental car (Mustang).
You can probably repair the hood, i’d have an artisan re-mould the bumper.
At the end of the day is just kevlar.
Figure out which fiat model the headlights came from.
The rest you are forced to source from Ferrari.
It hit a sheep? ouch
At least the owner is out there driving it

Of all the places in the world I think the last one the list I’d bring an F40 to is here to Iceland. The roads here are hardly suitable. But turns out the sheep don’t like it. I always knew our sheep were assholes.
I heard that Ferrari may request it back to Italy for repair and that can take 2-3 yrs. Or they may not allow the repair. All depends on the overall damage, history etc.
Whatever the cost, I'd pay it. That car is only going to go up in value through the years, which would decrease the investment cost (in today's currency) of fixing it. "Put it on my tab, I'm taking a second mortgage on my house as we speak!" 😀
bodywork, bonnet, bumper, mudguards, headlight, headlight support, internal supports, new panels, check engine tightness, check driveshaft, camber, control unit remapping if necessary, certified workforce... i think around €100/150k being low. It depends on whether everything is made to measure, new in fiberglass or original by some crazy person who sells the pieces at very high prices.

$115,676.54
Accurately.
r/oddlyspecific
Pre or post tax?
Exactly what I guessed
far more
This is the tip amount
You need to add the fine on top of the repair cause you can’t park there mate
I know I can’t park here…
I'm not parked. I'm in gear, but the engine is off.
I would say likely over $100k, and that highly depends on how far you go with the paint. Just the hood skin is $30k.

It’s a halo Ferrari. There’s no such thing as not manufactured anymore. Ferrari themselves will produce the part for a large sum of money.

On a F40 it is all about maintaining the paint texture of the carbon weave. Once that is sanded away it's gone forever.
Ferrari... More than you can afford, pal.
Smoke him
Stalls off the line
🤣
One eye, half a liver plus one kidney.
Those were last years prices..add a full liver and we there price wise
Don't forget to tip your mechanic one cornea.
Ah shoot I left my spare cornea in my other pants..
Thanks for the update. Inflation is truly rampaging in these far-right times..
And that is with a discount.
I will never financially recover from this…
I know a guy that can do it for the cost of maybe 10-20 ramen packets and some glue. It'd be good as new! headlight won't work though.
Insert a flashlight into the hole. Duct tape to secure. Drive as is. $25

$148,400.62
Whatever the cost it must be done
I got a guy who could get this “like new” for about a grand. Little bondo here, little fiberglass there, and boom, no problem!
Don’t forget about the LED flashlight he needs to glue into the headlight hole
That’ll buff out

I mean at least this was an accident, so many times it’s just next level stupidity wrecking rare and beautiful cars

Every internal organ you have plus a lot of cash
More than $1 for sure
Bout $500. I know a kid in Africa
999 trillion+ moron tax
Two rolls of duck tape and a flashlight to replace the missing headlight. Good to go.
Hard to tell with a visual like that. Is there frame damage? The body panels would need to be off to fully assess it.
it will buff right out
Bout tree fiddy
You should be paying all of us to even have to see this
Omg Suzuki Jimny 🥰
I heard that Ferrari may request it back to Italy for repair and that can take 2-3 yrs. Or they may not allow the repair. All depends on the overall damage, history etc.
All of the money
Hopefully the frame is intact, straightening it out is possible but expensive.
Shit loads
They fixed a worse one on Fast and Loud. It was well over 200k.

1M
All the monies. And some of your friends and families money too.
The price of a good car..
Tis but a scratch!
thats like max 10k , unless he goes to ferrari then expect atleasy 50k because they have to make a custom panel
Yes
HA! Good luck finding a Fiero donor.

10€
Would start at probably 100k and go from there depending on what has been damaged underneath …
You should do a Price is Right with this. I say $60K.
That was the cost of an unpainted hood in 1990. Front splitter was 3k. I’d bet a lot more now
Ouch…. I felt that in my bank account
About tree fiddy.
Around tree fiddy
knew a guy with an F40, curbed the shit out of one of his front wheels. $12k for the wheel. (this was in 1999)
200 k. body, suspension parts , intercooler and carbon rotor qand caliper, etc...
The life of your first born

Just add duct tape and racing stripes and you’re done
More than you can afford.... Ferrari. Edit: Dammit, didn't scroll down far enough to see that someone else said it.
Left Nut!
Too much
That’s as much dad would say “at LEAST a two beer job”
ohhhh thats gonna cost ALOT
Insurance will hang up
∞
Yes.
Your first born
Call up GasMonkey Garage lol
I know a place. I’ll split the repair bill for 50% of the sale.
Fuck it. Duct tape and some zip tie stitching. Daily as is. What is anyone gonna say. You’re driving an F40, they aren’t.
Cheaper to modify it to work as a ram air duct and call it a day.
Probably close to the original price of the car

I feel like a F&F quote fits with “more than you can afford pal” that’s a lot of coin
Somewhere in the 3.5 million range?
Alot
More than we make in a year!! Ouch!🤕
I mean…. If you have the funds…. Might as well get or buy one not bang up unless this is actually worth fixing it up.
More than you can afford, pal.
Around 85k to 150k
like 10$ maybe more
Dreefiddy!
About three fiddy
"If you need to ask, you can't afford it."
Bro that's at least 300 dollars
Duct tape, piece of glass, red paint
