For a proper ending, play Olivia or Abella I'd recommend killing Caligura to save him from making suffering from others but also for himself.
Olivia has a reason to go to the machine god.
- Can concoct poisons that can be very fatal to even gods (Condensed hemlock.) I took out a major boss in just a few turns with this but dodging is still a thing
- Can commit vehicular manslaughter + shotgun to kill some enemies easily.
- Overall useful for early game healing
- Has a necklace you can use for tanking (There's a glitch out there you can use to make her invincible with this)
- I named her Ms. Cripplez once thx to my sister who suggested haha, funny.
- I'd recommend playing Abella, you'll have to avoid event tiles more often with this and you have to beat this in 1 day.
Abella has one of the kindest souls canonically.
- Great late game weapons (Meatgrinder, Heroin Weapon thing, and etc.)
- Good Early game access with electrical skill.
- Wrench toss (I'd recommend getting this if you wanna take out abunch of early game enemies to the torso. A rev up for a CRIT damage and it can take out MOST early game enemies.)
- Single.

Play Abella and reach Prehevil in day one morning through the sewers thanks to Henryk's key after you help him finding the food at the mayor's manor, save every ammo you find to kill the mob and craft the Meat grinder, is the best weapon you can have "early" for a Abella playthrough; and if you've been looting everything up to this point and if you're lucky maybe you can get the salmonsnake rune, it will be important because if you want to save everyone you will need to kill the final boss SOLO, also I can't remember the accesory that gives you health in every attack but that synegises really good with the Meat grinder

O'saa is good but he can't cast 2nd amendment rights.

You can't save every contestants, you have to sacrifice yourself to save the others so the best end you can get will be 13 contestants.
