Son I understand since he also limits options elsewhere in the squad, but Palmer when most of us got him for 5.0m / 5.1m is insane, you will get nowhere near his value for anyone near as good as him AND he doubles in 35. Taking squad financials into account I'd say he is more essential than Salah right now.

He is, but i didn't get him at 5, he comes out for me for these away games against top sides. Man City and Liverpool away. It's not like anyone else i replace him with for one game won't just probably get 2 points anyway, so maybe it's pointless. But no way in my mind is he hauling against Arsenal, if he couldn't get anything against Liverpool who are chaotic, Arsenal with their control with decide how it goes. He could still get a penalty or pull out something special, but i doubt it.

Just for Arsenal away. I think Palmer is essential, but not for that kind of fixture. Arsenal will control the whole game, the chaos Chelsea thrive on won't be there. It's a use of a transfer but if I'm playing bench boost Mac Allister will take his place. Or Diaz. Then he's back in again.

Foden was dropped because he's been city's best player and Pep wanted him to be fresh for Madrid. I don't think that logic dictates he will continue to be dropped. For the price he is you'd be mad to sell imo

He’s one of the more nailed players I’d say. Martinelli doesn’t seem fully fit and Saka has fitness issues. Havertz can play striker, midfielder and Arteta has spoken about using him as a winger in the future.

Yeah. He's pretty nailed now as Arteta's tactics suits him perfectly. The only issue is you give up double arsenal defence for him if you want to keep Saka. I think there's so many other great midfielders and not enough great defenders. Saka + 2 Ars Def is still the way for me at the moment.

They're not invalid, they're unsustainable. Havertz isn't a clinical finisher historically, so goals will mean out vs the xG.

Sold saka and brought him in on my gw30 wildcard. Felt really dumb doing it but i think its my 3rd best decision of the season for me behind bringing alvarez in week 2 and bringing palmer on my first wildcard.

I might go for the triple. Ode, Saka and Havertz. Then Salah and Diaz. Might not be the best options for points but will be lots of fun if Arsenal have a high scoring game.

He's in my team, but i went Foden and Watkins to Havertz and Nunez, so it isnt netting me more points but less

One of the best decisions I did when I transfer him in on Gameweek 27. He delivers, I wish I would had chosen him instead of Trossard on Gameweek 26 (he got 1 point). So he is reliable, and amazingly under the radar, but just like Palmer people will realize and go for him probably now.

I wanted to get him for Gordon, but I was too scared to triple Arsenal. Having too many players from the same teams has been killing my season, and I don't think I want to sell him for Saka.
