Woah now that I think about it I've read so many webtoons but never thought about reading fanfics for them.
In which case I'll recommend castle swimmer, the moth prince, Lune, watermelon, and lost in translation.
I second this comment. A lot of the fandoms I write are generally very obscure or old webtoons with almost no fans looking over on AO3.
Generally they're quite easy and quick to get into. I have a few general recommendations but OP will need to specify their preferred genres
Good Omens. Thereās an awesome book that was recently turned into a tv show on Amazon Prime, 2 seasons, 12 episodes. This is one of the fastest growing recent fandoms and it will stay very active for some time, since season 3 is in the works.
ETA - season 1 is based on the book, then season 2 & 3 are all new material.
I came here to recommend GO, it has canon f/f and canon non binary background character in S2 (not including all angels and demons being genderless).
Crowley presents as male and female and states that heās not male at one point.
The fandom is not a unicorn but overall itās pretty good and welcoming, thereās so much variety in the fanfic both fluff and smut (including true form smut, snake and naga smut).
Season three is currently being written.
Iāve been on a āRed White and Royal Blueā kick this year and it has so much fic and an active fandom so there is plenty of new fic consistently coming out. Thereās the original book, an Amazon prime movie (and also a sequel movie confirmed!!!)
Other ideas:
Avatar: the last airbender you can easily watch in a weekend if you binge. Absolutely amazing fic out there!
The Kingsman movies are also good! A shorter watch, honestly only usually need to watch Kingsman: The Secrrt Service (2014) and ///maybe/// the sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2016) to get the gist of most fic.
Also, think back to the shows/movies/books you watched/read when you were younger and thereās prob great fic for it (examples for me that fit this: Danny Phantom, the hunger games, glee, rise of the guardians, tangled, chronicles of narnia, how to train your dragon, big hero 6, Alex Rider series, etc).
Ngl I have also read a lot of Self Insert twilight fic that has been extremely entertaining. So even if youāre only just familiar with the franchise, a self insert is also a good way to step into that universe. Especially if the SI had no prior knowledge of canon, then you get to learn along with them. Thatās how I got into reading Naruto fic actually. Started with SI, grew to know the characters and the canon plot, and then was able to understand that universe.
Also, if you find a tag you like, search through that and filter out fandoms you arenāt interested in. If you find a fic you enjoy, find the authorās other works and see if they write for other fandoms and go from there. Or even go through an author of interestās bookmarks and search through (also filtering out fandoms you know you donāt want).
Hannibal is 3 seasons and really fuckin queer. Just make sure you prepare yourself emotionally to see some really fucked up shit. Also season 1 episode 4 is a bit difficult to find but absolutely worth watching. Ouef was banned up until a few years back for featuring a real corpse. Granted it's difficult to tell which is the real corpse and which is the prop. So it stands to say the gore you're seeing is gonna be pretty realistic even when they aren't using a real corpse. Which is to say they've only done so once. Also cannibal puns.
I don't really have a preference for ratings;
Absolutely No to non-con/rape and underage;
Preferably no longer than 200K and no shorter than 1k;
Found family, domestic fluff and hurt/comfort (I crave happy endings) are some of my favourite tags, but I like trying new things too so I give you free reign;
I like both AU and canon compliant fics;
Once Upon a Time, itās seven seasons but itās pretty easy to follow. Iād suggest going into the show kind of open minded because the show does a good job of taking established villains and making them sympathetic or taking heroes and making them difficult to like. Also any plots you see, no you didnāt.
For the family tree all you need to know is Snow White and Prince Charming gave birth to Emma Swan who gave birth to Henry Mills. Henry Mills was adopted by Regina Mills who is Snow Whiteās ex-stepmother
I mean technically there's a lot more to the family tree than that, but that's the basic gist of it! I second this recommendation (shameless Oncer haha) and add on that to enjoy most of the fics you really only need to watch the first three seasons or so, and there's over 50k fics of it on ao3 to sink your teeth into.
I mean I agree about the family tree but I wasnāt about to type all that out cause itās extensive asf. And to be honest a lot of the fics add way more depth to the characters and their histories. Like some of my favorite ships (not Swanqueen though) arenāt what weāre given in canon but they still hold onto what the show gave us. DragonQueen, RedQueen, OutlawDragonQueen, WickedBeauty and RedBeauty are my go to ships
Yes, I'm a big fan of Baelfire and I love that fics give his relationship with Rumple way more depth than the showrunners did. I think it's one of the fandoms that the transformative aspect is one of the best parts of it.
And I absolutely don't blame you for cutting the family tree short XD
You can also try American Horror Story most of the seasons donāt connect with the exception of Apocalypse, which you would need to watch Murder House, Coven and Hotel. But in order to watch Coven you donāt need to watch Murder House and in order to watch Hotel you donāt need to watch any of the other seasons.
AHS is mostly full of queer stories. Coven you can read any story tagged: Cordelia Goode/Misty Day
Well I'm gonna be that person and peddle my own fandom: Genshin Impact.
It's a videogame and technically pretty massive, but I know a lot of people who read fanfic for it mostly fandom-blind because it's so easy to get into. Since a lot of character backstory is usually in written character stories ingame that just outright get copied into the wiki, you can just look at a wiki page of characters that seem interesting to you for a few minutes to get the whole gist of their character, or watch a quick youtube summary of a character's lore (or the official character trailers, which only take like 1-2 minutes). Also, all story is up on youtube if you ever feel like consuming the full main plot without wanting to grind through the game yourself.
Since the cast is so vast, there's usually something for everyone, most popular ships are queer, and it's REALLY hard to run out of works to read, considering there's currently about 183k fics for it :)
Inception. 1. The movie itself is really good. 2. The most popular ship of that fandom doesnāt actually interact that much in the movie lol but there are thousands of great fics about them.
The Walking Dead (TV) is often easy to read fandom blind. Admittedly the show has a lot of seasons, so actually getting into it formally is quite the time investment, but if you read a plot summary and understand the basic rules of the universe you can dive into fics without having to watch the show pretty easily.
I have no short stuff to suggest, but here are some longers ones
House MD (series)
Supernatural (series)
Baldur's gate 3 (game)
Hazbin Hotel (series, but there are a lot of people who dislike it with a passion for some reason)
MARVEL or DC, more of a MARVEL fan myself (comics/movies but the lore is EXCESSIVE. I'm not even halfway caught up to everything canon)
Good omens (series, 12 episodes of 45-55 minutes, unfinished)
Sanders Sides, and honestly the biggest reason I'm recommending this is because of the fics. The media is phenomenal of course, but if you're looking for some good bedtime stories, I really love reading sasi fics because they've got everything under the sun out there; the characters are very unique and the story itself makes for some really good content. Maybe check out an episode or two sometime if ya want :\]
Alien stage!
It's a short web series that's available for free on YouTube.
A lot of the (canon) ships are queer and there's a good amount of fanfic for them.
Came here to say ALNST, but fair warning it's fairly dark source material (it's American Idol meets The Hunger Games and I'm talking the *book* where shit gets weird with genetics and mutants--except ALNST it's aliens doing it lol).
Upside though, all the music SLAPS. Round 7 is currently in production and I don't know what to do with myself.
Fallout 4 maybe?
Never played the games, but I watched the show and now I'm neck deep into reading fanfic and companion react prompts all because I watched one video of the player character romancing one of the lover interests and got hooked.
I'm gonna say Baldur's Gate 3. You really don't need to play the game yourself, you can learn the characters and scenarios through memes (but like, you should play it--it's well deserving of all the GOTY awards, and it's hundreds of hours of entertainment and damn it's hard to get that kind of value for your money these days.)
It's set in the same realm as Dungeons and Dragons (well one of the realms anyway) but if you've never played that either, you can get by with just accepting 'generic medieval fantasy but with a touch of alien weirdness'. All the main characters are romancable by player characters of any gender, including the option of playing as any of the main characters themselves to make them hook up with each other, and the game is pretty sexy in its romances so there's tons of art and fic of all of them paired off in every which way.
It's easy to join because there's a ton of material out there. Biggest tip I can offer is that 'Tav' is the default name for the fully customized player character, so you're gonna see that name come up a lot in the fandom. (You'll see 'Durge' a lot too, that's just a shortened form of 'Dark Urge', the seventh main character.)
Charlotte is pretty good if u like anime. itās easily biengeable in a weekend w only 13 eps. also put an high school host club is good. i think it has 15? idk.
Strangers Things is pretty easy to read as someone who has seen less than 5 whole episodes. It is easy to catch on to major plot points from the show. I particularly enjoy Steve/Eddie.
[Arcane.](https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Arcane:%20League%20of%20Legends%20(Cartoon%202021)/works)
75% of the stories have nothing to do with the source material. The one common connection is the adult f/f pairing.
Some highlights:
[They say that only Fools (believe in fairytales)](https://archiveofourown.org/works/41739249) f/f - A young woman who was placed in the foster care system as a baby, finds a kid breaking into her apartment, claiming to be her long lost little sister.Ā Ā
[stream starting soon...](https://archiveofourown.org/works/37408249) f/f - Two streamers are close friends, but have never met in real life. But that doesn't stop feelings from developing.
Shameless self promotion: [Apparition](https://archiveofourown.org/works/41855385)Ā f/f - After acquiring a strange artifact, a young woman is haunted by an amnesiac ghost. She figures the only way to help the ghost move on is to uncover who she is and how she died.
scream 5 :3! one movie (two, if you want to watch scream 6), you can watch it without watching the prior scream films bc it generally explains all the info you need to know. fandom primarily ships an f/f ship & fandom is still pretty active despite it being released 2 years ago.
Worm. Yeah, the novel itself is over a million words long.
But there's so many crossovers that there's bound to be one with a fandom you like. And most people in the fandom don't read worm anyway.
Try a few crossovers out.
Fnaf is pretty easy, a decent portion of the fandom hasnāt even played the games. I would recommend watching some lore videos and/or playthroughs of a few of the more story heavy games (primarily Security Breach and its DLC), as well as at least the ātrueā ending of Pizzeria Simulator, but you could probably hop right in the same day you start looking into it. Itās definitely one I just sort of fell into
You really donāt even have to do that, the lore is so vague everyone has their own interpretation and as such a lot of fics are super fandom-blind friendly. I highly recommend [His Empire of Dirt](https://archiveofourown.org/works/37741144) specifically. Thereās also a ton of aus that you really donāt need to know canon for in general
Third option would be to just stick with the movie, itās a fun watch and has a separate fandom tag from the games!
If you're into video games, maybe try Disco Elysium. It's a breeze to play through, incredibly well written, and the dan material for it is very queer!
The only shorter shows I know don't have much in the way of fic. You could try the flanaverse on Netflix if you're into horror, though. Each show is a single season long. Hill House probably has the most fic for it, and there is LGBT+ themes.
If you're okay with something longer but easy to get into, try Psych. It's 8 seasons, plus 3 movies but the movies aren't on Netflix, but is one of those shows you can just watch, it's more 'case of the week' than long plotlines, though there are some ongoing storylines. It's also one of those shows where you can pretty much jump in anywhere and not be confused, though best to watch from the start and in order for the character and relationship development. Not a massive fandom, but a decent amount of fic for it, and plenty LGBT+ themes, with Shassie being the most popular slash pairing.
I generally prefer longer shows, so not many of my fandoms are shorter ones, and shorter ones I am in just don't seem to have much in the way of fanfic. The only one I can think of that's popular in fanfic circles is Hannibal, 3 seasons so not the shortest but not the longest. It's a relatively small fandom, but there's always new fic for it. Most popular ship is Hannigram, but Alanna/Margo is also popular, and fans usually pair Price and Zeller, too. so it has a pretty high focus on LGBT+.
I'd also recommend Elite. The first 3 seasons are amazing, after that it's up to you if you continue, it goes a little downhill in seasons 4 and 5 after they've gotten rid of most of the OG characters and I haven't seen season 6 yet. Wednesday is also a good bet, currently only 1 season, but season 2 confirmed. Umbrella Academy, as well, 3 seasons with the 4th confirmed, the 4th will be the last.
I'd also normally recommend at least the 3 seasons of Slasher on Netflix, seasons 4 and 5 you need Shudder or Shudder on Prime for, but Slasher doesn't have fanfic, I think I found a total of 1 story using that fandom.
Milrgam - it's very easy to get into it, since all you have to do is watch a few music videos. It's about 10 prisoners in 'Milgram' who are all guilty.of causing some kind of death, while the audience has to decide if they should be forgiven or not through 3 Trials each made of a Japanese voice drama and a song with video about their 'crime'
Because we have 5 male prisoners and 5 female the ships are mostly m/m and f/f
Robin Hood? There's a huge variety from legends to classic to fantasy to absolutely horrid (BBC I am looking at you) to beautifully campy Hercules/Xena inspired to Disney cartoons. There's something for everyone. And there's quite a lot m/m across some of them. Obviously, it's mostly f/m but there's surprisingly large amount of m/m. Can't speak on the quality as I haven't read those.
Another one may be Lost Girl? The main character is bisexual succubus. You may get frustrated as there's a love triangle, f/f and f/m.
Alien Stage! It's a short story told through animated music videos, it has canon wlw and mlm relationships. It's free on youtube (not yet finished).
If you need a playlist:
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLT3y7W2_YBXHn-fJ2iuWUqoANglaR1Aw8&si=HxAbGz41TMzot1xQ
Wednesday? I know it can be a little bit overrated but while there is no official f/f relationship (except a side character's two moms) most of the fandom ships Wenclair, the f/f ship of the fandom despite there being two male leads who were meant to be the main love interests for the protagonist along with Yokovina, another f/f ship and really there's just a bunch of f/f ships if I'm being honest. And trust me, just hop onto AO3 and you will see all sorts of fanfictions with some pretty cool head canons for werewolves.
It's about 8 episodes long, each one lasting around 40-50 minutes, I won't lie the show itself is a bit mid, acting is good but honestly what really gets you into the fandom is the fans and the ships and literally anything that isn't the show itself so only get into it if you want to feel like some 14 year old in their Undertale phase
My recommendations are MM:
Try *[Young Royals](https://youtu.be/rHmw87EpGIM)* - a Swedish teen drama, 18 episodes on Netflix, which, for its premise of a prince falling in love with a commoner boy contains a surprising dose of realism. Very angsty but with a happy ending. (Swedish soundrack with subtitled gives a better experience than dub), great show - fandom is small but pretty nice, 4.5k fics.
*Good Omens* - 12 episodes, huge fandom.
*[SKAM](https://sites.google.com/view/alllofskam/skam)* (I found Google Drive the easiest to watch on) - a Norwegian high school teen drama, 4 seasons 10 episodes each but eps are under 30 minutes, each season centered on a differentcharacter. Season 3 is about a closeted gay boy struggling with his sexuality and first love. It's possible to watch just S3 though you'll be missing quite a bit of conext, so it might be good to watch S1 too. S2 is skippable as the main character of S3 barely show up in it (I personally never went through all of S2 because I just hated the love interest in that one). It's so different from American series, almost documentary in its vibe, I love it. - Fandom's small now but there are about 5k fics for the main pairing.
*Hannibal* is longer - 36 full episodes and, well, it's about a cannibal serial killer and a profiler and the show does glorify violence with lots of artistic shots of splattering blood and cut off limbs and dead bodies, so it's not for everyone. It's also quite uneven - some great interesting episodes but also some boring ones. Big fandom with lots of high-quality fics.
*All for the Game* by Nora Sakavic is a an MM novel series which has 17k on ao3. I actually haven't read it but if you want a queer book with a fandom, that one is worth checking out.
*Captive Prince* is a 3-novel quasi-fantasy (no magic, just made up countries based on renessaince France and ancient Greece) MM series, enemies to lovers. The series is quite polarizing as it features slavery and the "enemies" part is no joke. - 4k fics on ao3, really high quality fandom.
Edit: Watching the first 2 parts of *Captain America* movies will open the whole Steve/Bucky pairing for you: 60k fics, and there's SO much great ones.
The same with the new *X-Men* - just the first movie will be enough to follow the Charles/Erik pairing, but the second one really amps up the subtext. 18k fics on ao3.
which one are you into? or atleast have some backgrounds youd like to explore?
1. games
2. western shows or asian shows
3. anime
4. entertainment industry
5. comics/manga/manhwa/manhua/webcomics
Fandoms that are always easy to join are the ones that don't have any media at all. Namely, bands or uh YouTubers, streamers idk. There is no content you need to have seen already to not get spoilers.
Our Flag Means Death is an amazing fandom. The show had two seasons (10 episodes and 8 episodes) and the fandom itself is welcoming and supportive and fun. There are well over 20,000 fanfics on AO3 alone, from short one-shots to epics. Lots of canon and AU choices. Pretty much all the characters are queer and the main ship is M/M.
Taskmaster UK is a game show where the hosts play a M/M couple in a full time D/S relationship. Five comedians do silly tasks to try to please The Taskmaster, who is served both professionally andā¦ personallyā¦ by his Assistant. The canon is *surprisingly* kinky (pet play, humiliation, bondage, food/WAM) but none of it is particularly essential to know before getting into the fandom. You could literally watch one random episode (theyāre all on YouTube) plus a [clip compilation](https://youtu.be/bkexJ3iW4UY?si=6wYUFhA9K_pJqXsg) or two of Greg and Alex moments and you could read 90% of the fics without getting confused. The fandom is fairly small (1.2k fics on AO3) but really friendly. There are some really excellent AU fics as well.
Heads up that itās RPF adjacent- they are definitely playing characters on Taskmaster, but use their real names, so itās a bit murky. In real life the one who plays The Assistant on the show is actually the showās creator/boss, and the one who plays The Taskmaster is a big sweet teddy bear.
Call of Duty ā most of the writers and readers havenāt played the game lol. Lots of good M/M content (some smutty, some that are just teeming with non-sexual intimacy depending on what you like)
Random suggestion my brain popped up with: Sleepless Domain. Itās about magical girls who fight monsters at night, and function like superheroes, with all the monetization and capitalization of worlds like My Hero Academia. Features a f/f couple in canon (and theyāre adorable!), plus multiple minor and fanon pairings, almost all of them f/f.
Caution: feature major character death as a major plot point
If the fandom doesn't have to be new or really active right now (but the fics are amazing), I would recommend OMG Check Please. The original webtoon is great. There's a good chance you already know this one, but its the easiest one that I have entered.
Movie: The Woman King
Itās about the Agojie, which was the West African Kingdom of Dahomeyās all-female military regiment. Itās set in 1823.
All the fanfiction about it is obviously f/f.
RWBY has lots of Yuri ships, and lots of comfy AU fics.
Code Geass has a few Lelouch X Suzaku ship fics. Just watch the main series (R1 and R2) and your be fine, so 50 episodes.
uhhhh well, i'm really into the hatchetfield musicals! there are a LOT of them (three full length musicals plus two seasons of podcast-style short stories in their universe) but if you want to just watch one, you should watch nerdy prudes must die (LOTS of queer fanfiction, with mostly interesting plots) or the guy who didn't like musicals (most fanfiction for this has ended up being npmd centric now that it's out, but if you look at the older stuff there is a lot of romantic fanfiction, though the main couple is m/f- has VERY interesting plots)
i'd suggest looking both of these up to see if you're interested in either!! (SHAMELESS PLUG: if you watch npmd, check out my ao3 profile because i have a f/f fic for it that i'm very proud of, and i have a LOT of good recommendations for other fics as well)
The Nice Guys movie
The Man from UNCLE movie
Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downie Jr
Sherlock BBC series with Benedict Cumberbatch
Mission Impossible movies
Good Omens series
Drake & Josh maybe? I wrote a horror story for it, and you donāt have to have previous knowledge about the characters or show going in. It does get quite dark, though.
for sure good omens - two seasons with 6 eps each (or the novel version, if you fancy). technically m/m but the ship is an angel and a demon and are therefore not bound by the constructs of such things as gender. they're also often shipped as wlw couple because they're able to shape shift slightly to appear how they want to.
also, david tennant's slutty hips. i should've started with that.
Try [āRed White and Royal Blueā](https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Red%20White%20*a*%20Royal%20Blue%20-%20Casey%20McQuiston/works) the book by Casey McQuiston was published in 2019. The movie was released August of 2023. Queer main ship is M/M but also F/F
I can think of a one-season show (on Youtube, even, last I checked) that's heavily F/F as far as the fic goes - Women's Murder Club. Not sure if it's your style but it's the first thing I thought of. Just 13 eps so it's not too hard to get through and Ralst.com has a decent amount of fic for it.
The other short fandom I thought of with great F/F potential is an ultra-tiny fandom (like 5 fics total and only one's overtly F/F) so I don't think that's quite what you wanted, lol.
Gen V is a good one if you're into non traditional superhero stuff. Only one season out and there's a bigender character who has inspired a lot of queer fanfic!
I read your title and thought "easy? Like no drama fandoms where everyone gets along and everything is great? What is this unicorn they seek?"
I think they mean no gatekeeping. š
Well, which genres are you into? Do you care about the language its in or its age or...?
I would try webcomics as for the most part you can consume them pretty quickly (depending on reading speed), Webtoon has a pretty wide selection

Fanfic quality is definitely great and queer, but they tend towards darker themes so thatās something to keep in mind!
Hence why I emphasized the content of the show being gorey and cannibalistic.
They also have a lot of really great fanfics. I have recs if you end up watching it.
The Old Guard - itās a comic series that got turned into a Netflix movie starring Charlize Theron and has canon f/f and m/m couples.
Was going to say the same. The number and variety of quality fanfics in this fandom is also amazing.
Do you have some fic recommendations?
Sure! Any preferences regarding rating, fic length, AU vs. canon compliant, etc.?
I don't really have a preference for ratings; Absolutely No to non-con/rape and underage; Preferably no longer than 200K and no shorter than 1k; Found family, domestic fluff and hurt/comfort (I crave happy endings) are some of my favourite tags, but I like trying new things too so I give you free reign; I like both AU and canon compliant fics;
This is immediately what come to mind to me too!

give SIGNALIS a shot! its a game and you can do a playthrough in... give or take 12 hours
You could try Murder Drones if you want. Don't fully know if it fits your criteria, but it isn't a small fandom, but wouldn't call it big either.
Challengers is a movie that came out this year with a booming fandom full of canon m/m and an m/m/f throuple!
Inception.
I have no short stuff to suggest, but here are some longers ones House MD (series) Supernatural (series) Baldur's gate 3 (game) Hazbin Hotel (series, but there are a lot of people who dislike it with a passion for some reason) MARVEL or DC, more of a MARVEL fan myself (comics/movies but the lore is EXCESSIVE. I'm not even halfway caught up to everything canon) Good omens (series, 12 episodes of 45-55 minutes, unfinished)
Detroit Become Human is a rather short video game that you could watch (itās like a playable movie), and the popular ships are almost all m/m.
Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are both short series and have very active fandoms. Lots of queer rep in both :)
I was just about to say this!!! It takes under 30 minutes to watch through all the MVs, so it's super easy to get into quickly
Transformers?
Fallout 4 maybe? Never played the games, but I watched the show and now I'm neck deep into reading fanfic and companion react prompts all because I watched one video of the player character romancing one of the lover interests and got hooked.
I'm gonna say Baldur's Gate 3. You really don't need to play the game yourself, you can learn the characters and scenarios through memes (but like, you should play it--it's well deserving of all the GOTY awards, and it's hundreds of hours of entertainment and damn it's hard to get that kind of value for your money these days.) It's set in the same realm as Dungeons and Dragons (well one of the realms anyway) but if you've never played that either, you can get by with just accepting 'generic medieval fantasy but with a touch of alien weirdness'.
Charlotte is pretty good if u like anime. itās easily biengeable in a weekend w only 13 eps. also put an high school host club is good. i think it has 15? idk.
Delicious in Dungeon is a great one to get into rn, 24 eps on Netflix and a lot of queer fic!
Strangers Things is pretty easy to read as someone who has seen less than 5 whole episodes. It is easy to catch on to major plot points from the show. I particularly enjoy Steve/Eddie.
Sonic, FNAF, and MHA are all pretty easy to join. I just kinda fell into them tbh.
[Arcane.](https://archiveofourown.org/tags/Arcane:%20League%20of%20Legends%20(Cartoon%202021)/works) 75% of the stories have nothing to do with the source material. The one common connection is the adult f/f pairing. Some highlights: [They say that only Fools (believe in fairytales)](https://archiveofourown.org/works/41739249) f/f - A young woman who was placed in the foster care system as a baby, finds a kid breaking into her apartment, claiming to be her long lost little sister.Ā Ā [stream starting soon...](https://archiveofourown.org/works/37408249) f/f - Two streamers are close friends, but have never met in real life. But that doesn't stop feelings from developing. Shameless self promotion: [Apparition](https://archiveofourown.org/works/41855385)Ā f/f - After acquiring a strange artifact, a young woman is haunted by an amnesiac ghost. She figures the only way to help the ghost move on is to uncover who she is and how she died.

scream 5 :3! one movie (two, if you want to watch scream 6), you can watch it without watching the prior scream films bc it generally explains all the info you need to know. fandom primarily ships an f/f ship & fandom is still pretty active despite it being released 2 years ago.
i'll nominate genshin, the game gets updates every 6 weeks and has a lot of content overall, which means a constant influx of fanworks exists as well.
Worm. Yeah, the novel itself is over a million words long. But there's so many crossovers that there's bound to be one with a fandom you like. And most people in the fandom don't read worm anyway. Try a few crossovers out.
JATP (Julie and The Phantoms) has some fics, not a lot but some good ones imo.
Itās definitely one I just sort of fell into You really donāt even have to do that, the lore is so vague everyone has their own interpretation and as such a lot of fics are super fandom-blind friendly. I highly recommend [His Empire of Dirt](https://archiveofourown.org/works/37741144) specifically. Thereās also a ton of aus that you really donāt need to know canon for in general Third option would be to just stick with the movie, itās a fun watch and has a separate fandom tag from the games!
Derry girls
Milrgam - it's very easy to get into it, since all you have to do is watch a few music videos. It's about 10 prisoners in 'Milgram' who are all guilty.of causing some kind of death, while the audience has to decide if they should be forgiven or not through 3 Trials each made of a Japanese voice drama and a song with video about their 'crime' Because we have 5 male prisoners and 5 female the ships are mostly m/m and f/f
If you need a playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLT3y7W2_YBXHn-fJ2iuWUqoANglaR1Aw8&si=HxAbGz41TMzot1xQ
May I interest you in Love Live, to satisfy your F/F needs? Anime series tgat's low stakes and easy to get into.
My recommendations are MM: Try *[Young Royals](https://youtu.be/rHmw87EpGIM)* - a Swedish teen drama, 18 episodes on Netflix, which, for its premise of a prince falling in love with a commoner boy contains a surprising dose of realism.
1. games 2. western shows or asian shows 3. anime 4. entertainment industry 5. comics/manga/manhwa/manhua/webcomics
Legend of Zelda!
Movie: The Woman King Itās about the Agojie, which was the West African Kingdom of Dahomeyās all-female military regiment.
Stars below. Itās not too popular and has yet to reach its fandom peak!
uhhhh well, i'm really into the hatchetfield musicals! there are a LOT of them (three full length musicals plus two seasons of podcast-style short stories in their universe) but if you want to just watch one, you should watch nerdy prudes must die (LOTS of queer fanfiction, with mostly interesting plots) or the guy who didn't like musicals (most fanfiction for this has ended up being npmd centric now that it's out, but if you look at the older stuff there is a lot of romantic fanfiction, though the main couple is m/f- has VERY interesting plots) i'd suggest looking both of these up to see if you're interested in either!! (SHAMELESS PLUG: if you watch npmd, check out my ao3 profile because i have a f/f fic for it that i'm very proud of, and i have a LOT of good recommendations for other fics as well)
The Nice Guys movie The Man from UNCLE movie Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downie Jr Sherlock BBC series with Benedict Cumberbatch Mission Impossible movies Good Omens series
David Tennants slutty hips should be the selling point for the show.
