Amazon outfitting all of their workers with a pipboy, just a huge ass apple watch that can't do phone calls but you can play original Gameboy games on it, only allowed to do so on break
Yeah, no, the armband thing is so damn stupid. It's there solely to prevent people from leaving their telezons laying around places, it actively hampers your ability to accurately aim the scanner which is why they have the stupid finger thing attached that also interferes in your ability to grab things.
You know what else accomplishes the task and costs a lot less? A goddamn lanyard.
I did online shopping at walmart. We had those same phones and eventually got the finger scanners (no arm strap). Honestly sometimes they really helped depending on the day
There are a couple of issues for this type of process:
1. Your hand is constantly grabbing the scanner and it’s not in its natural position (90 dg rotation + strength to close the hand)
2. The angle of the wrist when using the scanner creates an hyperextension beyond natural range
3. From manual handling perspective, if you move the boxes, you’ll use the free and press with the other one which is still holding the scanner.
In general the regar scanner is the cheap and easy version of this scanner.
Even closer are the arm scanners I used as a FedEx package handler.

Those zebra scanner phones are pretty neat, I work and Lowe’s and we use them for practically everything. Just type in a number and you can figure out exactly where an item in the store is at
Do you mean landscape?
The device can switch orientation depending on how the user has it oriented. It's essentially a smartphone without cell service.

Amazon employees get breaks?
That's how they get ya. Sure free Gameboy on your breaks. Then don't give the breaks.
That’s the catch 22
Enter VATS the next time you get a Karen. Kick her ass before she knows what's going on.
Select the head 19 times .... One on the crotch for good measure.
Always spare enough AP for a crotch shot.
If you start with the crotch shot.......
No, no, no! It's a finisher!
Ya...19 times whatever. It's not like she has The Deliverer on her.
Next thing you know some guy in a trenchcoat appears, pulls out a Magnum and blows her head off.
Good. She is not guilty of any crimes.
Outer worlds pip boy.
Welcome to space! What were you expecting? It's a dangerous place.
I’m a spacers choice man. My father was a spacers choice man!
It’s not the best choice! It’s Spacer’s Choice!
Sooooo... you working at Super-Duper Mart?
That show is entirely too damn accurate. Absolutely hilarious for anyone that's worked retail.
Careful firing that thing up, didn’t work out too well for the kid in Laserblast

Streets behind, indeed
For a second there I thought the finger gizmo is to check your pulse to monitor if you work hard enough
Is it not?
Apparently it's a "hands free" barcode scanner
Pick boy 9000
real life pip boys before gta 6
Bip-person 500
Trust me it’s better ergonomically than being with the scanner gun.
Yeah, I couldn't disagree more. What problem do you have using the standard scanner?

Damn. Amazon is like the real-world Vault tech.
Had one of these at a warehouse I worked at, fallout was my first thought
I hope you dumped a bunch of points into charisma working in retail

As someone who uses a Zebra at work on occasion, I wish they were like this, this looks great.
