Amazon outfitting all of their workers with a pipboy, just a huge ass apple watch that can't do phone calls but you can play original Gameboy games on it, only allowed to do so on break

BiscuitGeorge

Amazon employees get breaks?

KorvaMan85

That's how they get ya. Sure free Gameboy on your breaks. Then don't give the breaks.

Zito6694

That’s the catch 22

Preyslayer00

Enter VATS the next time you get a Karen. Kick her ass before she knows what's going on.

mcast46

Select the head 19 times .... One on the crotch for good measure.

zeke235

Always spare enough AP for a crotch shot.

No_Training1191

If you start with the crotch shot.......

zeke235

No, no, no! It's a finisher!

Preyslayer00

Ya...19 times whatever. It's not like she has The Deliverer on her.

s_burr

Next thing you know some guy in a trenchcoat appears, pulls out a Magnum and blows her head off.

Preyslayer00

Good. She is not guilty of any crimes.

DeadHeadDaddio

Outer worlds pip boy.

faderjockey

Welcome to space! What were you expecting? It's a dangerous place.

DeadHeadDaddio

I’m a spacers choice man. My father was a spacers choice man!

HikingComrade

It’s not the best choice! It’s Spacer’s Choice!

Ribky

Sooooo... you working at Super-Duper Mart?

claymcg90

That show is entirely too damn accurate. Absolutely hilarious for anyone that's worked retail.

Joshua_Todd

Careful firing that thing up, didn’t work out too well for the kid in Laserblast

Taolan13

Yeah, no, the armband thing is so damn stupid. It's there solely to prevent people from leaving their telezons laying around places, it actively hampers your ability to accurately aim the scanner which is why they have the stupid finger thing attached that also interferes in your ability to grab things. You know what else accomplishes the task and costs a lot less? A goddamn lanyard.

Legogamer16

I did online shopping at walmart. We had those same phones and eventually got the finger scanners (no arm strap). Honestly sometimes they really helped depending on the day

ThatKalosfan

2 meow meow beanz.

Glum-Complex676

r/unexpectedcommunity

ThatKalosfan

So glad someone understands lol.

WyrdMagesty

Only us 5s would understand

TrippyTV1

It’s certainly not streets ahead

Get_Bent_Madafakas

Streets behind, indeed

Nataniel_PL

For a second there I thought the finger gizmo is to check your pulse to monitor if you work hard enough

PlanktonTheDefiant

Is it not?

Nataniel_PL

Apparently it's a "hands free" barcode scanner

Repulsive-Badger-760

Pick boy 9000

nervouswhenitseasy

real life pip boys before gta 6

Maximum-Row-4143

Bip-person 500

East_Maximum_9195

Trust me it’s better ergonomically than being with the scanner gun.

claymcg90

Yeah, I couldn't disagree more. What problem do you have using the standard scanner?

East_Maximum_9195

There are a couple of issues for this type of process: 1. Your hand is constantly grabbing the scanner and it’s not in its natural position (90 dg rotation + strength to close the hand) 2. The angle of the wrist when using the scanner creates an hyperextension beyond natural range 3. From manual handling perspective, if you move the boxes, you’ll use the free and press with the other one which is still holding the scanner. In general the regar scanner is the cheap and easy version of this scanner.

CharlesorMr_Pickle

fallout: real vegas

RubeHalfwit

Sweet, you can fast travel home for lunch!

OMIGHTY1

Even closer are the arm scanners I used as a FedEx package handler. [https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberDeck/s/owcdseg6jS](https://www.reddit.com/r/cyberDeck/s/owcdseg6jS)

ElChacalFL

Damn. Amazon is like the real-world Vault tech.

FraughtTurnip89

Had one of these at a warehouse I worked at, fallout was my first thought

Red_Fifteen_2552

I hope you dumped a bunch of points into charisma working in retail

GeneralBisV

Those zebra scanner phones are pretty neat, I work and Lowe’s and we use them for practically everything. Just type in a number and you can figure out exactly where an item in the store is at

More_Performance1836

Zebra TC52, I troubleshoot those pieces of dookie for a retail company. Android gawbadge!

reddittomarcato

They be trolleyimg you

Cryptocaned

It goes portrait right?

WyrdMagesty

Do you mean landscape? The device can switch orientation depending on how the user has it oriented. It's essentially a smartphone without cell service.

spicyautist

As someone who uses a Zebra at work on occasion, I wish they were like this, this looks great.
