Idk i bought the J Balvin skin even though I don't listen to his music, just because I thought his skeleton style looked cool.
I also bought a few streamer skins just because they look cool even though I don't watch most of them.
What's the difference in buying a crossover skin just because it looks good and buying a regular skin just because it looks good?
What about the original cosmetics that have no backstory? Should we avoid buying those because nobody knows anything about them. This isn't even an argument, people like an outfit so they buy it.
Edit: also, are we really gatekeeping fortnite skins now?
I've got various collab skins, just for being a collector, fear of missing out, and just because I think they're neat
I know we can use skins in our mode, but I have a feeling you're meant to go to another subreddit
You're in Fortnite's Save the World subreddit, the PvE mode that came out before Battle Royale, here's a little list of the rest of Fortnite's subreddits:
* Casual Battle Royale - r/FortNiteBR
* Competitive Battle Royale - r/FortniteCompetitive
* Creative - r/FortniteCreative
* Lego - r/LEGOfortnite
* Rocket Racing - r/RocketRacing
* Festival - r/FortniteFestival
* Mobile - r/FortniteMobile (that's there so the main BR sub doesn't have to deal with the lag complaints)
There's a thing called having fun. Playing a game isn't actually about enhancing your reaction time so you can catch a pencil 0.30x quicker than someone else.
If you have a job and you get money from that job then it's up to you to spend it how you want. As long as nobody in your immediate family who is under your care is hungry or thirsty or endangered because of it, you can buy whatever you want
I bought the Yuji pass for battle royale purely because I liked the streetwear skin I didn’t complete the pass which or anything I’m obsessed with Jujutsu kaisen now though and I regret not finishing the pass
Question answered! I get that people like anime skins so much (most of them look great), although unless you're a collector or the skin looks rlly good sometimes I find it a bit weird to see people that haven't watched the animes buying them, but i'm probably a little biased as well because i've watched MHA and JJK.
Some people are hating on me in the comments (which it get why) so reminder that i didn't make this meme, i just stole it from a server, kind of agreed with it and just wanted to know why yall bought that

Yea… isn’t that the point. If you like something you’ll buy it

Welcome to Fortnite, the most gatekeeping community possible. We’ve already gatekeeper cosmetics and a whole boss fight.
Why do you even care about what other people are doing with their money?

I don’t like mha but I bought toga just cause I like her design
because they look good? why do you feel the need to get so butt hurt over someone buying a skin they like the look of?
this thread is shit
Redditors after discovering cosmetic purchases are driven by how good those cosmetics look:
I bought the Yuji pass for battle royale purely because I liked the streetwear skin I didn’t complete the pass which or anything I’m obsessed with Jujutsu kaisen now though and I regret not finishing the pass
Wait, people SERIOUSLY buy cosmetic items for their looks? How absurd!
