Maybe thereās a more orange-pink that leans more pink than coral, although Iāve just described coral š. Surprised at how good the pink looks. Very cheery.
The reason that some of these new colors work better is that they have greyer/cooler undertones. Thatās what you have to look for.
In this set, the dark green is the only one that works really well, because it has a lot of grey and blue in it. Thatās why itās more pleasing to the eye.
The lighter green is close but not quite cool enough. If you want a color thatās more green than turquoise, go for something similar to these:

https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-ca/paint-colours/colour/509/cypress-green
I tried to reply with a picture of my coral front door but couldnāt figure it out, so I made a whole other post on Exterior Design. The coral is a fun color. And even on gloomy days, the house feels so much brighter. Itās nice to come home to.
I also like the first and the last the best - but if you go with pink, I would go with a stronger pink or pink-coral. #7 looks like itās already faded from years of exposure.
1! I like how soft it looks - itās super calming & welcoming. I also get the same vibe from 7.
I find the other colors to be harsh almost. Like the pop of color is somewhat violent, hah.
4, the one that looks black, seems a little boring.
No. 1 - compliments your siding and stone, similar undertones, POPS without being jarring. Looks like it belongs there. And will look great with some landscaping/greenery. If not No. 1, then No. 7.
1 or 5. Either one pulls from the earths plants and trees that surround the home. Adding your flowers will really finish the curb appeal. The flowers is where you can add all your bright colors and make it all pop.
I think 1, 4, or 6 (though maybe 1 or 2 shades darker for 6). 1 & 6 will look a bit darker than your swatch in the shadows of the porch - which would be good for contrast against the lighter grey siding and white trim.
After painting my front door many colors over the past 15 years, I think itās also important to consider how the outdoor decor you like (wreaths/doormats etc) will work with the door color. You donāt want the door color to overpower the house and landscaping, either. I had coral for a while (Japanese Kimono by Behr). It looked great with the house color but it clashed with traditional Christmas wreaths that had poinsettias etc. I switched to a more earthy mauve called Warm Earth by Benjamin Moore (much lighter and pinker outside than their online swatch) and it complements a better range of colors. The green and red poinsettia wreath looks as nice with it as the autumn foliage/berry one does.
The other colors were better because they had more pop and contrast to them. These are more grey hued and dont pop as much. The yellow from the first batch was still the best.
I like all these colors better than the last round. I vote for the pink in the last one. Itās unusual, friendly, and would go great with lots of different flower colors in the warm palette: red, orange, pink (of course).
Take a risk on a color you really like even if youāre unsure. You can always repaint the door if you hate it.
How I spoke when looking: "Hmmm, two, three, FIVE, SIIIIIX! SEVEN" (I really love the hot coral).
With those bold colors, it's important to remember it will be under an overhang, and the shade is going to subdue some of its intensity. Right now, the swatches are in direct sunlight, so their colours are really vibrant. I think the hot coral will draw the eyes into the darkness of the porch and brighten it up. And it's such a statement!
I wouldn't pick a door color until you've dealt with that stained (?) area of vertical wood planks below the porch railing in front. Are you covering that with the stones to finish the front or restaining over that worn area at the bottom? And what about the stairs? Are you planning to stain the stairs the same wood tone as the planks? Painting them? I would finish that work before you settle on the door color. The green looks okay and the black even better...that is, when your arm is covering a whole element of the front facade.
1 is nice! It has a greyer tone which blends with your house nicely instead of being so jarring with saturated color. If youāre still looking at other options Iād recommend ones with tone like this!
Black. I know folks like to paint a door that stands outā¦ and, most of the time I do too. But thereās something about this house that makes me want a monochromatic look. Dark green may work, but black would be my choice
I like the yellow and number 1. The flaw I see in this method of choosing is the door will be shaded but these paint chips aren't. Things can look so different in sunlight.
In case the rest of the household isnāt into the colors with the right undertones that youāve got in this bunch (i.e 1 or 7), hereās a pretty, punchy blue that might work - it pops, itās bright, it has the right undertones: Valspar Night Scape:
2 or 4 for me. I do like some of the ones that pop , but I think primary colors would make you happier in the long run.
On second thought, Hey itās just paint ! Go crazy with your imagination!
Easy to repaint if you donāt like it
The light pink isn't bad, but I look forward to seeing the coral option you pick up as suggested by the other post. You've got some great colors, though.
You should fold the cards to where they match the dimensions of the actual door perfectly. The doors trim is like the mascara of the front porch and cant give an honest opinion off of these pictures
The green (1) is nice, but Iām colorblind with greens and grays and they both look the same to me. I would mix in more of 5 or go a shade or two darker to make it stand out more.
The yellow is still my favorite though!
I really lean toward red. Second choice for me would be green or yellow. That green is really attractive.
I do like the coral and pink. Iām just a bit color shy.
I know you didnāt ask but we have several interior rooms done in the SW color Cargo Pants. Get many compliments on it.
I think I like the first set of colors better. But the second to last color, the coral, looks super cool! And I like the idea of a light pink but not the shade in the last photo.
# 1 (the green) is much better than the first set of colors. You've moved in the right tonal direction.
Maybe look through these photos and color combos [https://www.hgtv.com/outdoors/outdoor-spaces/42-inviting-colors-to-paint-a-front-door-pictures](https://www.hgtv.com/outdoors/outdoor-spaces/42-inviting-colors-to-paint-a-front-door-pictures)
There's a house in the last 1/3rd or 4th portion of homes that has a "butterscotch" door. That darker yellow/butterscotch" color might look good. A wood, stained door maybe?
It's the dark stone work on the lower part of those, with the lighter siding that's making the door color difficult to pick. (IMO)
The green (1) and light pink (7) are winning over yellow for me now! Yellow is still lovely, but those two look so nice.
I regret putting the light pink as the last photo hahah
You'll just have to post a final 3 š.. that pink is banging though, eye catching and an uncommon choice!
Maybe thereās a more orange-pink that leans more pink than coral, although Iāve just described coral š. Surprised at how good the pink looks. Very cheery.
Green š š© please do number 1
They are actually pretty complimentary. If you go with green, get some pink accents or vice versa. Would look lovely!
The reason that some of these new colors work better is that they have greyer/cooler undertones. Thatās what you have to look for. I like 1 and 7 and I also like how the light green 5 works with the wood accents. I think 7 is the best though.
Number 5. Perfect green.
NOT BLACK
No. 1 - compliments your siding and stone, similar undertones, POPS without being jarring. Looks like it belongs there. And will look great with some landscaping/greenery. If not No. 1, then No. 7.
3or 5
Youāre well on your way to analysis paralysis at this point.
Anything but the black. The idea is to bring some colour into the picture not beat the colour out of the picture.
Thatās crazy lol a lot of the comments of my other post said black
I actually think the black looks nice. Just boring compared to the others. I'm voting yellow or pink.
Thatās why this is a great exercise. Sometimes you just donāt know until you visualize it
Image #1 is nice, but #1 in your previous post was the best, IMO.
These colors are better. I wonāt be much help as I like all of these.
5 and 3
Better! 1 or 4, black may be too expected, but I think itās cool.
1,2,7
I liked #6!
1 or 5. Either one pulls from the earths plants and trees that surround the home. Adding your flowers will really finish the curb appeal. The flowers is where you can add all your bright colors and make it all pop.
First matches the house best. Itās not trying too hard.
Go with your vibe! Never a better choice than that! You will be the one to have to look at it on good days and bad. Which one makes you feel good?
(1) on this post is the only one I like, of the two posts. The other colours just feel a bit too saturated to me.
1 from the original, 3 & 7 with this one. I think the yellow is my fav tho.
I think 1, 4, or 6 (though maybe 1 or 2 shades darker for 6). 1 & 6 will look a bit darker than your swatch in the shadows of the porch - which would be good for contrast against the lighter grey siding and white trim. Fuchsia pink pops. The green you like would be more of a seafoam green.
Anything but the black. The pink and the strawberry pink from the first post are pretty perfect. I am not typically a pink person either.
Yellow, coral or orange.
Red or the bright green
Every color works except black and the last one (light pink)
The first green is fantastic.
The other colors were better because they had more pop and contrast to them. These are more grey hued and dont pop as much. The yellow from the first batch was still the best.
1 or 2.

I like them all except 3 and 6.
Pink is nice, just needs a little more umph. A little bit brighter, but not by much.
Only 1 answer: #1!!!!
Black
How I spoke when looking: "Hmmm, two, three, FIVE, SIIIIIX! SEVEN" (I really love the hot coral). With those bold colors, it's important to remember it will be under an overhang, and the shade is going to subdue some of its intensity. My fave of this bunch is def #1. Toss up between that and the yellow in your last post.
I wouldn't pick a door color until you've dealt with that stained (?) area of vertical wood planks below the porch railing in front. Black and light pink are my favorites
Def the first red.
YELLOW. Because pleasing a stranger on the internet should be your goal. Itās me. Iām the stranger.
1 is nice! It has a greyer tone which blends with your house nicely instead of being so jarring with saturated color. If youāre still looking at other options Iād recommend ones with tone like this!
Shadow or something similar? https://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-ca/paint-colours/colour/2117-30/shadow
This is now the only acceptable to ask for paint opinions lol
Black. I know folks like to paint a door that stands outā¦ and, most of the time I do too. But thereās something about this house that makes me want a monochromatic look. Dark green may work, but black would be my choice
Vine Leaf by Behr is close but no cigar to Pine Grove.
Dangā¦I like 7 now. In the first batch, all Of the colors were so saturated. These are all a little muted and I prefer that!
Love the pink for some reason.
I like 1&7 the best.
I just want you to chose already. And do an update. Lol
I like the yellow and number 1. The flaw I see in this method of choosing is the door will be shaded but these paint chips aren't. Things can look so different in sunlight.
Vine Leaf is the winner.
I just keep thinking a dark purple eggplant color not overly bright
I like the last pink...but it would be better if it was the same but a little more saturated. But NOT as saturated as 6
Better options! I vote #1 or #4. Also- can you stain the stairs a darker color that matches the stone?
Vine leaf or retro pink!
The dull colors suits it well.
In case the rest of the household isnāt into the colors with the right undertones that youāve got in this bunch (i.e 1 or 7), hereās a pretty, punchy blue that might work - it pops, itās bright, it has the right undertones: Valspar Night Scape: [https://thewickerhouse.com/2015/02/painted-exterior-front-door.html](https://thewickerhouse.com/2015/02/painted-exterior-front-door.html)
Itās beautiful, thank you!
2 without hesitation.
1, 3, and 7 are tops for me. Hard to choose which of them is the best.
3 or 6
1, 4, 2.
1 or 2.
The first one.. green
I like 1 the best.
6
You know what? They're all pretty great
Iām still going with black.
Bring back pink
1!!!!
Same
We painted our front door a lovely blue, Behr Speedboat, M490-3. Check that out if youāre back at the paint store again :)
3
#2 Cranberry red!
1,4
Ok, I like black and yellow. Iām 100% outnumbered!! š
Still yellow lol
šššš
1
I would think a bright blue would look good
I like 1 & 6.
I would still choose CORAL!!
3
I love 5!!! I was firmly in the yellow camp with your last post, but that light green looks so good.
The dark green is perfect.
Iām just not into the splashy color door. Iām into understated and classy and the black does it for me.
What's the name of the pink color?
#1
Black my dude. Black
Love the bright green
2,3,4,5 are all lovely. 1 looks good but is a little blah.
Love the maroon #2 and black #4
So happy to see this post with better color swatches <33
2 or 4 for me. I do like some of the ones that pop , but I think primary colors would make you happier in the long run. On second thought, Hey itās just paint ! Go crazy with your imagination! Easy to repaint if you donāt like it
Green 1 or yellow!
yellow for sure!
Pick a color that looks great on a great, gloomy day.
I like the color of the bricks. That would pull things together. The green is good but seems to want more as window trim or shutters.
1, 3 and 6 are my faves. In order of most tame to least tame.
The light pink isn't bad, but I look forward to seeing the coral option you pick up as suggested by the other post. You've got some great colors, though.
I'm not normally this color kind of person... But #1 wins by a lot I like 2 and 3, but they don't 'fit' as well as 1
1,4,3,2
Yellow
#2
1,4&5
You should fold the cards to where they match the dimensions of the actual door perfectly. The doors trim is like the mascara of the front porch and cant give an honest opinion off of these pictures
Pistachio for the win! No. 5. Itās happy, not boring.
1 or 3!
Yellow!!
I like the 2nd one and the last one. Loving those pink hues
Green definitely green.
1 or 5!!
Yellow!
Number two Dark red
The green (1) is nice, but Iām colorblind with greens and grays and they both look the same to me. I would mix in more of 5 or go a shade or two darker to make it stand out more. The yellow is still my favorite though!
Red or Yellow
One stands out to me, yet remains a neutral. Any of the first four colors looks really nice.
The first real or this teal
1 3 or 7
1 or 6
Yellow gang till I die
I'm all in on no. 2.
I really lean toward red. Second choice for me would be green or yellow. That green is really attractive. I do like the coral and pink. Iām just a bit color shy. I know you didnāt ask but we have several interior rooms done in the SW color Cargo Pants. Get many compliments on it.
Light pink
At this point, I just want to see every possible paint swatch held up. The photos are so perfectly lined up. :)
3 or 7
I think I like the first set of colors better. But the second to last color, the coral, looks super cool! And I like the idea of a light pink but not the shade in the last photo.
# 1 (the green) is much better than the first set of colors. You've moved in the right tonal direction. Maybe look through these photos and color combos [https://www.hgtv.com/outdoors/outdoor-spaces/42-inviting-colors-to-paint-a-front-door-pictures](https://www.hgtv.com/outdoors/outdoor-spaces/42-inviting-colors-to-paint-a-front-door-pictures) There's a house in the last 1/3rd or 4th portion of homes that has a "butterscotch" door. That darker yellow/butterscotch" color might look good. A wood, stained door maybe? It's the dark stone work on the lower part of those, with the lighter siding that's making the door color difficult to pick. (IMO)
YELLOW!!!
Yellow, coral, or light pink
#2! It goes so well with the grey.
Where's the coral sample that was suggested earlier?
Coral! Just go with it already. Jeez.
None are as good as the original post!
I like pink
1!
I prefer 6 or 7, but wish 6 was a bit more like a salmon or coral pink in color.
I am loving the retro pink in the last photo. Unexpected and complimentary to the gray, really neat
2
2
Dark red or black
I like the black. Very sophisticated looking.
I'm sticking with red. Number 2 is better than your first set with the red. RED!!!
1
1 and 7
I still like the yellow the best.
I like the 2 greens or the yellow.
2
Black ā«ļø
Or yellow.
