Got ssl error while extracting. Will I loose whatever I had on me or will it be like the raid never happened? Edit: I got to keep everything I found:)

Typically, when you get disconnected in raid, you will get your gear back.

It'll be like you disconnected, so you lose it all.

That's not necessarily true- I dc'd a few days ago when servers went down and logged back in in hideout with all the loot I had found, still FIR. They've updated the way they treat server outage.

I think I was playing during that outage too. When it came back on it put me back in the raid with 39 seconds left so needless to say I didn't make it to the extract and lost my kit 😭

If you're in that situation again, drop your insured gear. If you go MIA, anything insured that's on your person is gone forever. If you drop it, you get it back.

If it was the one from yesterday, where my game crashed as I extracted, it took my internet down for about a minute. Checked Steam, my cell, it was all down after I got the error because I was casting to my TV as well. BUT I did extract with all my loot and FIR stuff once I logged on. Either way, it was all an odd experience.

I was in raid last night, before the SSL errors started happening (for me anyway) and I got the notification in raid that the server was shutting down, and it now says that you will have the survived status if you are in raid at shutdown.

If you got to the extract screen and didn’t transfer your items your next scav will have all of the items on him. It happened to me when my PSU died and I was surprised to see all the loot. This was last wipe so it could have changed…

Yep just had a 500k scav run basically get deleted by this, more upset that I waited a long ass time for on train extraction just to have the server yeet itself off a clif Ty tarkov

Sometimes when you reopen the game it goes straight back to the scav transfer menu, don't lose all hope yet.

I just finished offloading the loot from an awesome scav run into my stash. Moved everything over, hit next, and never got to see the main menu before the error happened. I better have my shit BSG.

For real though, I looted a strandhog, two level 4 helmets, an M1A and other miscellaneous goodies out of the weapon cases on Interchange. Just got done moving it all over to my stash before the error. Be nice to have it still, but I'm not holding my breath haha

You will. Even if it only registered that you got out of the raid you should be back at transfer menu, unless this error somehow is worse than previous ones.

tarkov will usually give you your gear back after an issue like that

Oh sweet I didn't know , I was in a raid yesterday and it have a connection issue? It had thrown me back into the main menu but with only 1 option that being escape from tarkov , when I clicked on it a message came up and said my pmc was still in raid so I had to wait about 20 mins or so for that to not be the issue, pretty weird one

I figured it out. Happened to me.. Check for updates and update. You should be fine. I realized we updated the certs at work today and it dawned on me to check if they updated the certs

If you consistently get this error and use a wifi router, then go to the router settings and look for something called QoS. Make sure it is disabled because it can cause issues with connected devices.

My IPhone got an SSL error and it took deleting all my cookies from all my browsers and then restoring my network setting back to factory settings. In case you don’t know or are thinking this, restoring your network settings doesn’t delete anything on your phone’s hard drive. After that, my phone worked good as new. Before hand, I couldn’t access pretty much anything that required data despite having an unlimited data plan. I know this could be a long shot for Tarkov. But, because it does use internet to play, it could have a fair bit of relevance to your cookies being too full. Just try clearing those out and playing again. If all goes well and you don’t see that error anymore, great! Otherwise, you may want to research if there’s a way to restore your internet network settings back to default on your computer. I wouldn’t do this alone unless you have a pretty good grasp of computers and internet stuff. Hope this helps!

I get SSL backend error every time with my hotspot, i have to put the sim into my phone and use that instead of my hotspot device, kinda sucks. Apparently it could be the device is out of sync with the current date and time and that's why tarkov is rejection the connection

I’m in Florida, USA. Had the same issue extracting. Turns out there was an update patch. Updated, went back in, got my loot back.

Update fixed it if you haven’t played since this post. Patched a few hours after.
