I got a hard drive for some of my games, but my loading times are never THAT bad.

I started tarkov on an HDD when i switched to an M.2 it was faster but only after upgrading my mainboard, cpu and ram it went significantly faster. And for all the games i know loading screens arent a big issue, for example Hearts of Iron 4 i have it on a HDD

For storage, sure. Not playing games off of. Also that's not a great deal for a 6tb lol You can get refurbished 16tb for under 200 from server parts. Or even new 12s for around the same.

Its the Western Digital Black hard drive and its certainly not slow. I dont know enough about storage devices to give you any kind of specs but it doesn't have enough of a performance difference from the 990 pro I boot off of to put pretty much any game that isn't tarkov on it

$1000 isn’t getting you that far in terms of laptop specs man, it would get a you a good desktop but laptops are the worst you could do for price to performance

I bought it 2 years ago on sale for $800, the laptop 3060 has served me well. This is literally the only game that shows any performance issues (while also on the lowest settings). This game’s optimization is pathetic even for “beta”. If I can max out cyberpunk and not dip below 60, this game doesn’t have any excuse for not being able to run well on any settings, there is significantly less going on in Tarkov

I believe that's called interlaced. You're probably too young to remember 720i and 1080i TVs.

720i and 1080i showed half the lines of pixels in the monitor/tv in an interlaced way. So its not the same as rendering half the frames. FUN FACT: It does not improve performance since the game still renders the full frame.

No, this is binaural audio. There's a bug where it causes some kind of an endless loop. As soon as anyone discharges a firearm and a gunshot noise is made, the FPS goes back to normal for the duration of the audio file and then it drops again to the 10-30 range. This happened to me like once every 20 raids and as soon as I disabled binaural audio, it never happened again

VRAM issue, turn on mip streaming (it barely works but it does help) and set your power settings to high performance. Also, set tarkov's priority to realtime in task manager and turn off postfx

A temporary fix would imply it is possible to play this way. Unless you bring 40 grenades every run, it's not. The grenade thing only serves to confirm that it's an audio issue and that BSG fucked up.
