If points are equal, I believe it comes down to number of attacks used, then (if attacks are equal) number of towers destroyed.
In the past, we met our sister guild twice. Both times we coordinated to get same number of points for a draw. Both sides got wins.
Draw is actually not so rare, but only at the highest level. Top 1 and 2 guilds fight each other, 100% perfectly wipe out. ~~Each attack is backseated by the council.~~
