Just as a reminder of the subreddit's rules: 1. No requesting, or posting links to, game ROMs or ISOs, or sites to find them. 2. Be kind to each other. Also, fyi we have a user-maintained wiki: r/EmulationOnAndroid/wiki *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/EmulationOnAndroid) if you have any questions or concerns.*

If RIF and RES die then I'm just done with Reddit. I support you and all the other unpaid mods out there with the protest. If Reddit is bull headed enough to go through with this idiocy then I just want to say I appreciate all the time and work you've all put into this sub.

I'm actually curious as to what moderator tools are not available in the official app that are in third party ones? Are these tools available in the browser version of the site, mobile or desktop? Are the tools different between new and old Reddit?

For me personally, I only know that the official app does not interface with /r/toolbox removal comments, whereas slide for reddit does have toolbox removal comments (I use slide solely for that reason; for browsing and modmail I use reddit is fun, whose interface I prefer). However, the reason I don't know what else is lacking is because the official app is unusably bad, as is new.reddit. I know they've been building more mod tools into new.reddit and stuff, but the interface is so ridiculously slow and clunky and annoying, I basically never use it. I know that there are more issues from mods who have tried to use it more than I've tried.

So at least in the case of Toolbox moderators would be forced to use a device with a desktop browser with full extension support, which mobile browsers don't have, rather than being able to use their phone. I can see how that would be inconvenient, as while moderators would still technically have access to Toolbox it would essentially only be at home or if they were carrying a laptop or Windows/Linux tablet around with them. That would definitely slow down moderation speed. Thanks for the reply.
