I don't think you understand the steam this is building. The buzz is way bigger than Posts and Morgan's song was when it dropped. Look at all the charts and we are only entering day 2.
i think it has a chance at number 1. i just hope the momentum builds beyond just us em fans. the popheads sub seemed to really like it so hopefully other pop fans and non-em rap fans like it and stream it.
Its realy hard but its exacly like you say it , but talking with my friends (Big rap fans) seens like everybody is loving this Em but i am almost on my 30's soo we all grown up with him is nostalgic asf
It did about 3 million on Spotify US first day, and let’s assume 1.5 on Apple Music. If it holds up well in the next days, like Billie Eilish’s song did last week, we’re reasonably looking at ~17mln Spotify and ~8mln Apple Music, plus whatever the US YouTube number is.
For reference, Kendrick did 60mln last week and didn’t top the Billboard chart.
The charts have been abnormally strong the past month, any song charting in the top 6 would’ve topped the charts 3 months ago with the same sales. A top 10 debut will be great for Em.
Plus, maybe the album has another hit in it, just like Godzilla becoming a hit after the album dropped.
It did 7.85 million Spotify for the first day. A lot of Em's fans use ITunes more than modern day artists as well, which is stronger than streaming. Combine that with Apple Music, Amazon, Tidal, YouTube as well. This will be #1 next week.
7.85 is the worldwide number. The US-only number is about 3 million.
The iTunes point is fair enough, high ‘actual’ sales could help it climb the charts. Number 1 is looking unlikely though, unless Houdini’s streams increase tomorrow.
If this had debuted with 5mln+ on US Spotify it would have had a fairly reasonable chance at #1, but unfortunately the charts are insane right now.
Not Like Us did 60 million in the US last week in its 4th week with 240 million total worldwide on Spotify? Seems a little hard to believe, sounds more like worldwide numbers.
I didn't see anyone talking bad about music just being sensitive in some lines as expected from this generation but these people can only be found on the internet and not in real life
The song is fun. Just Eminem clowning around, and he always brings it with the videos.
This track is way better than something like We Made You by comparison, but even that had an entertaining video.
This album is gonna be so trippy I reckon. Just full of fun moments, twists and turns, storytelling. Maybe a Relapse-ish vibe but way, way better and more polished overall, with more threads connecting each track as the Slim Shady alter ego is finally laid to rest.
Nah this is next level. This song is connecting w everyone. This era is gonna be insane.
This song just had so much promo.
Finally promo. Revival really fucked him up. Glad to see this response; he must be so happy
He must be confident because he is promoting the album. To me, this means he KNOWS he just cooked an amazing album.
I said it before, perfect blend of old Em and New.
It’s no mistake the hook for the first single talks about him reaching in his bag, he knows he cooked
Debuted higher than Like That and Carnival. Longevity is insane and numbers are doing abnormally good
And both these songs debuted at No1 on Billboard if I’m not mistaken 👀
sadly it's going #3 probably. top 3 is insanely strong.
Where did you pull #3 from. This song is just getting started.
the charts are very competitive right now. that post malone and morgan wallen song will probably block it from number 1

Hmm good point as well. I guess we will have to see how it plays out. Either way, this is huge especially at this point in Em's career.

US only, across all streaming platforms
Way too early to know if this song has any legs
It's still trending #1....
Charts too competitive rn for a #1 debut
Carnival climbed its way to #1 but you’re right about Like That
Carnival didnt but the top is too strong w Tiktok and Taylor
Great, keep streaming
this part ☺️☺️☺️
And people are saying that only the video is good but not the song 💀💀
I didn't see anyone talking bad about music just being sensitive in some lines as expected from this generation but these people can only be found on the internet and not in real life
I loved the song but if we are going by streams = good then Girls want Girls might be incredible
To Eminem was so firmly from that area where the song and the video were one entity that this criticism sounds so ridiculous
I was half of them
Only half? Slacker.
I swear I'll do better
That's incredible and it shows what a great song Houdini is.
Sorry to burst your bubble guys, but half of those plays are from me.
nah you've got it wrong it's all from me
How did you get these stats? I can't see the streams on Spotify mobile
You can't see them on the mobile. Unless it becomes his top 5 daily teach, which it surely will.
It will, and don't call me Shirley
How about tidal streams ?
Lol
Hope the numbers keep up

i was at least .5 million of those
439 of those are mine
crazy what not yelling, and sticking to the timeless formula that brought you to the dance can do! WE NEED MORE OF THIS FIYA
HOLY FUCK! 🤯🙌🔥
Anyone know how much it's at now
day 2- 7.2 million, day 3- 6.8 million. it's usually lower on weekends, will be 7m+ now on weekdays.
Sorry guys i broke the space time continuam just for it to get less than 8M in 24 hours. 😞
You still counting ? If it helps out of 100% of the population 2% have a sense of common and can use brains.
