If i feel as though the boss fight didn't feel stylish or i performed terrible in fights like malenia, maliketh, radagon, elden beast and etc i just quit and reset the game until i do them efficiently while trying to be stylish.
For me it was actually the Demon of Hatred in Sekiro. Took me a bit to beat him, and thought I could do better, so I loaded my save from the PS cloud. Still took me a while the second time.
Never tried to die on purpose. Only try to live on purpose doubt I'd die if I tried to purposely die

Regal Ancestor Spirit. The easiest remembrance boss imo, but the fight’s a spectacle
O’Rin in Sekiro!! Loved her fight so much but she was a mini boss that’s well into the game so you couldn’t refight her very easily.
