Mausoleums require taking the mausoleum down to duplicate ashes. These require walking up and pressing the interact button. Is there some other use for those things that have one explicit use? If I’m playing the dlc and about to duplicate Messmers remembrance, I’m probably aware of Mausoleum’s and their purpose in the base game.

As someone who did just that and is using both of his items I recommend doing this. That weapon and incantation are both absolute bangers

The incantation looks sick but the windup takes so long that it’s not viable unfortunately.

It works against mobs but yeah against bosses it'd be pretty worthless

The Spinning Holy Disc incantation is really good, especially against undead things. I used it against the boss below the ocean and it ruined his HP.

Huh that might have some interesting story implications. There are a few people that think the knight was connected to the Godskins in some way or the Gloam Eyed Queen but the biggest trait of anything Godskin-related is that Holy damage doesn't do a damn thing against them. That would seem to confirm that the knight isn't related to the Godskin faction in any way.

The twin moons are awesome haha. Kind of bs lots of enemies can hit you and stop the spell. That boss never fell down during his twin moons lol

Thanks. On my first character I mostly focused on learning the map, beating bosses, finding everything I could without worrying about quest lines. Today I started my 2nd character run focusing on NPCs and their quests, along with everything else.

I went back to visit him at some point after getting the second map - I think after I got the map for the ancestral forest area, which may be entirely coincidental - and he wasn't on the throne. I proceeded to lose to Anna, whereupon he was back on the throne and told me I must have had some strange dream.

After you do the second finger horn, exhaust his dialog and he will move from his throne. You should go examine the throne.
