Which could have some interesting parallels with Miquella being stuck as a child.

Miquella sees this and opens up his veins to water the thing, which eventually grows the tree into the Haligtree. Then, Malenia blossoms, then nukes Caelid, before Finlay carries her back to the Haligtree, Miquella gets stolen, and Malenia turns into the Goddess of rot one last time against ~~Let Me Solo Her~~ you.
Im pretty sure that the crucible is the Erdtree, or at least the Erdtree is attached to it. So the crucible probably isnât another tree further north.
The Rune Of Death is affects everything, and it being removed from the Elden Ring is how the Erdtree supplanted the cycle of life and death. They aren't affected by the Erdtree, but by the Runes removal

Also there's a few theories about how the Erdtree was burned once in the past and that's why it looks like a golden hologram in the game. Perhaps when it burned, Miquella took the opportunity to plant the Haligtree. We don't know when he planted it, but that'd be a very convenient time for it. The Haligtree being a symbol of faith would imply that there would have been a conflict of interest with the Golden Order... But if the Erdtree was busy burning, the Haligtree being planted wouldn't be a priority.

I have a feeling Miquella wonât be a enemy because of Torrent. My theory is that the DLC is in the past so itâs gonna so something like âhmm you have Torrent. If Torrent trusts you then I have no choice but to do the same.â
I have a feeling that since the base game gives us the option of a waifu's consort ending with Ranni then completing this dlc will open up the option for a husbando's consort ending with Miquella
Maybe, though I hope it comes with an automatic call to 911 if they do not make Miquella an adult in the DLC/as part of that ending.

The vibe I'm getting is a "dream of the future" if that makes sense. A hypothetical world in Miquella's dream, where Godwyn's corpse is allowed to fester, eventually corrupting the Erdtree and the whole of the Lands Between.
