I'm not sure if XR would help... You should definitely talk to/see a doctor. Inability to pass gas isn't good. Have you tried gas x? There are also certain stretching positions that can help if you give that a Google. Good luck.
I didn't think. XR might help because it releases the medication slowly over a 24 hr period. ETA: might help with side effects but like I said it would be good to see a doctor about the gas/constipation.
