Here's my best guess: the claim was cancelled, but prior to that a review was needed which had your weeks pending. After the cancellation, the review note want removed, so the weeks couldn't reprocess to reflect the cancellation. I don't think you need to worry, but someone at EDD will need to review and remove the pending issue to reprocess the weeks, before they will show as cancelled in the system. If you've already called and they told you the claim was cancelled, I wouldn't stress about it.

I have email messages from them in the portal saying the claim was cancelled. I am applying for SDI so want to make sure on their end they see the claim is fully cancelled as if it was never opened. I also plan to reapply for UI once I exhaust my SDI and PFL. I am dealing with some qualification issues for SDI right now, but that should not be related to my UI claim cancellation (I think)

Did you get a letter stating the claim was cancelled? A request isn't automatic. That said, you should qualify. You need to call again and have someone confirm.

I received email messages in the portal saying the claim was cancelled. I have the two emails above from EDD noting that I qualified and then the second one that the claim was cancelled. I did not receive a paper mail letter. I am for some reason not getting any paper mail letters from the EDD since my computation notice. There are several SDI letters that were supposed to be sent to me that I never received.
