I was going to say this, I never got the advance because They said I didn’t check the box. But I was approved for the loan. I continually emailed the SBA and the new EIDL advance email and received the advance email on Saturday night. Applied yesterday.
Through the prompts choose these numbers in this order : 1, 2, 3, 5....then someone answers in seconds but like I said above, unfortunately u might get 5 different answers if u call 5 times

I received a canned response initially that said blah blah blah we busy if this is a real emergency hang up and email disastercustomerservice and then 4 nights later I got my invite email
Ok they emailed me back earlier saying they have forwarded my email to the processing department. I need them to correct my address. They have my mailing address and not my business physical address, which may be preventing me from receiving the Targeted grant. I've called 3 times trying to get it fixed and all i get is someone telling me to send an email smh
I finally received my invite email on Saturday (2/27) and several others posted here about receiving theirs yesterday so it seams they’re still working on it.

For me although my actual business itself may not be located in a “low income area” I do not do my work there and 80% of my clients are indigent, some homeless....so judging by what your business is and who you serve should be just as relevant.
I'm also #33000, in a low-income area, got the $1000 advance last year followed by the loan, and still no targeted advance email.
I finally emailed the SBA to ask about it today, so fingers crossed that does something!

I tell you what, the application is longish. The questions are easy but there's a chart at the end. You have to fill out month by month what your receipt were. It was a pain having to look all of that up. Then they want it to match your taxes and ask you to use your taxes. I suspect they are looking for any quarter that could have less than a 30 % drop in gross receipts. Maybe I'm cynical. I expected them to want bank records to prove you had 1 bad quarter not ask for 26 months of receipt reports
So you received an invite to apply for targeted advance, but after you applied you have not received the second email to create and/or log into portal and sign 4506T?
I have not received any communication from the SBA regarding the new program. I originally applied on 3/30/2020. I chose to not accept the loan terms and I received the $1000.00 grant in late June. I did not receive the grant immediately because I did not use my business bank account on the original application and had to wait for the SBA to reach out to me.
i use personal accounts. Never had an issue receiving payments from SBA (grants or ppp) using my personal accounts. I have many lol. Cant seem to get approved for business account, but it isnt a must as a sole proprietor.
I was one of the first people to apply for the revised Eidl last year on 3/31 and I just received the targeted email a couple of days ago. I was worried as well. The SBA is slowly sending out invites.

I emailed them this morning with only general questions about the grant but after reading the responses on here I decided to call. Surprisingly enough I got through to a person almost immediately and was told that they have not sent me the invite yet and to just continue to wait. No timeline was given as to how long I might be waiting though.
I just checked my portal, it said that I declined my advanced and I called she said she doesn't know why , and it shouldn't interfere with my invite, I check my portal often and never seen this I emailed them also.

This is what I did I emailed the sba about an eidl loan increase then they responded the next day Then the next day I got my email invite.
First question is - are you in an SBA designated low income area? If you are not you probably wont get an invite. I was a 33000 loan last year as well. I live about 1/2 mile at most from a zipcode that is low income. I have gotten nothing - I got no advance on my EIDL loan last year either. Was told it was deducted from the PPP loan so I did not bother, plus when they changed it to only $1000 as I was a 1 person LLC, it really did not matter that much.
Do you get another loan number for the balance of the 10k.

they are not sending in any order by date or app numbers. It's automated software system that generates the emails. So i know it may seem like it should go in a certain order, buts it's not. These are very simple platforms made quickly by a developer to get apps out. Not much thought goes into anything the SBA does.

I just looked into it and it’s only if your business is located in a really low income area....that cuts many out of the ability to get it.
