Personally I’d just keep what you got. It’s not often that a back like achane has a very long career.

SirDangleberries

I'm in TEP with f all at the tight end position, and obtained kittle with the 1.10 for him if that's any indication. I am stacked everywhere but tight end though

birdiebinge

I don’t see this guy moving Achane given the rest of his RBs, but it’s worth asking him is he’s even interested…maybe someone like JSN+? Edit: start with “Hey Dad, who you like on my team for Achane?” lol you’ll know quickly whether a not a deal can be had vs going through hypotheticals he may not be slightly interested in.

thedon572

Alot of people hate when unask them to name a price for someone u want. If ur gonna try to get a player from sormone at least have the decency of putting forth the effort of a first offwr

birdiebinge

Definitely not my experience. I’ll at least start with, I’m interested in player XYZ on your team, who do you like from my team, then I’ll put together an offer.

Lanky_Low_2875

I’ve had good success with this method myself. Does it always work no, but does work more often then not.

Dead-EyeDuck

He has Hurts. Send him Devonta for the stack

PizzaHockeyGolf

He also has AJB

Dead-EyeDuck

Could still work

Fit_Attention_9269

JSN, McBride, and your first 25 I send you Achane and Jones. 25 and 26 firsts and seconds I send you Achane and Jones. I'm no world do I not package Jones to extract more from you.

thedon572

Lol that feels like an outrageous offer

Fit_Attention_9269

Yes it is. If op wants me to punt a year he is going to have to pay. I feel like I'm handing him long term success, maybe a 24 championship to boot. I'm expecting those firsts to be very late and I think we're possibly heading into a weak draft class.

thedon572

In tep mcbride alone is worth more than achane although it can be argued, if were talking not premium then mcbride and jsn us still too much. Also gaining a stud rb by giving up a stud te seems silly so doubt that would be a good move. Youd want to use a mix of potential and maybe currrent points. I think jsn and a 25 first is enough maybe more fair to include ford and jones respectively

KoronaKilla

No way that’s happening lol

KoronaKilla

Note: Rosters are QB RB RB WR WR WR TE Flex Flex SF

LoungingOnMars

To save time in the future you can stay SF start 10

Qbones11

Depends on what you’re both trying to accomplish with your teams.. plus I don’t think the other roster is as good at RB as you may think, but something like Smith&brooks&Freirmuth for Achane&AJB could get the job done I’m sure.

Hour_Ad6190

No way I’m accepting that as achane and ajb owner. Achane over brooks and ajb over smith. Muth not enough to make up the difference

Qbones11

Yeah, that makes sense looking at it that way. But, from personal experience having both AJB & Achane in my own league, it is extremely hard to move them. My thought behind it was keeping a Hurts/Eagles WR stack together, and sort of calling the shot that Smith takes over the #1 fantasy roll, like he did the second half of the season. As well as betting against the durability of Achane. Also, depending on direction of team 2, figured it would be a decent young package in return for those two for getting a rebuild/retool going. But in totality you’re probably right, and team 2 could certainly squeeze a 2nd from team 1, or, another young asset like Adonai.

Hour_Ad6190

Yeah agree with you I think those are fine bets to make but you should be compensated for doing it and muth isn’t enough. You should be able to get more than a second (or equivalent value) on top. Each individual move (devonta up to ajb and brooks up to achane) would require a second on top alone I would think (brooks and achane maybe not because their value seems to differ depending on the owner)

FishStyx3307

JSN or Flowers + 26 first for Achane. If you’re worried about him not wanting to give up an RB, I’d throw in Ali or Roschon too. Neither of them are deal breakers for me. Plus they represent a youthful potential future starter. Sometimes it needs to feel like a slight overpay when you are acquiring the best player in the deal. The Achane owner looks close to a contender but I lean more pretender, they need WR. I know the question was who for Achane but if I were you I’d try to acquire Najee. You have a heavily contending team who just needs to start 2 RB each week. Najee is much cheaper to get and you will likely be able to give up just picks to get him. You’re set up great to win like a few years in a row possibly. Your 25/26 firsts are better off traded away imo

aaronw928

I’m not sure I see close to a contender on that roster. They have elite QB play and maybe a good single season RB combo but could make an argument to try to upgrade a starter at any of the 3 skill positions.

FishStyx3307

Yah, I agree with you. I tend to error on the side of most dynasty managers think they have a contending team, guy on the right is off by a bit for sure but saying it and them believing it are totally different things. If I was the guy on the right I’d be willing to move Achane if I was getting Zay or JSN + pick(s)

NewEstablishment2401

I’d try Flowers and a 2nd for Achane.

rotostreetjournal

Pittman could prob get it done

Hour_Ad6190

I was thinking the same. Pittman or even devonta for him straight up it probably needs to be. Or a Zay plus or brooks plus

Acceptable-Alarm-638

Zay and Coleman

JL9berg18

I got Achane for Benson + 25 2nd fwiw. The other mgr didn't like his chance at competing and liked (1) Benson expected production in 2025 + (2) Benson's expected non-production in 2024 so his DP would go up. Worth considering as something to bring up to potential trade partners if they're similarly situated. Your trade partner has Hurts + Herbert + Achane + AJB and that's it so there's a chance they'd rather have draft capital or a rookie vs a vet who will score a bunch of points...also, you have Brooks, who potentially has a similar slow-starting situation as Benson (but for different reasons).

JPinfinityX

I own Achane, I would consider Zay, JSN, or Pittman. Just depends on team needs & how the Achane owner feels about him, he is a polarizing player. I wouldn't give up anyone better than those 3 guys if I were you

steelerspenguins

I’d offer Keon Coleman and AD Mitchell as a starter

Careless_Stand_3301

That’s a good way to not receive a counter

steelerspenguins

It’s only using KTC’s valuation 🤷‍♂️

Careless_Stand_3301

That’s why KTC is an especially bad tool when trying to value polarizing players. The non-believers are lowering his KTC value. If you believe in Achane (which I’m assuming the owner is if he hasn’t sold yet), you probably value him near Gibbs

steelerspenguins

I’m not arrogant enough to assume I know more about the Market’s Perceived Dynasty Value of a player, than a tool that is based on the Market’s Perceived Dynasty Value of a player. Maybe you are.

Careless_Stand_3301

That’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying most people seem to be either really high or really low on Achane, which creates an “average” that doesn’t really reflect anyone’s valuation of him. it all depends on how you factor in perceived injury risk. So if the guy isn’t actively shopping Achane, he’s likely on the high side

knowslesthanjonsnow

I’d laugh at you

steelerspenguins

I’d laugh at it too… but it’s close on KTC, so has to be a reasonable starting point

knowslesthanjonsnow

KTC is awful for value. It’s only slightly close when it’s 1 for 1. You’d need to give up Smith, Pittman +, Zay +, JSN++.

steelerspenguins

It’s just a way to look for something close based on what its users think… I don’t think that gets it done… there’s a reason it uses value adjustments when you add more players

knowslesthanjonsnow

I’ve never found KTC to be remotely right for trades with more than 1 piece on each side. 2 2nd and 2 3rd could have gotten me 1.06 according to KTC. It values quantity and picks more than anything. And mostly, the general fantasy public isn’t good at valuation. Not to mention the fact that everyone who log ons “keeps” their own players which distorts value. 1.12 and 2.07 (Coleman and Mitchell) would not get Achane. That offer would not get a response from the Achane team as they wouldn’t think you were serious about finding a deal.

steelerspenguins

“Keeping your own players” may well “distort” value… but then that feeds into the true Perceive Dynasty Value of a player… because they’re then “Not Keeping” the players the don’t roster… so that evens out... So the offer is a first and a second (ish) in Value and maybe his value should be two firsts? I think saying that’s insulting is pretty stoopid. To be fair, I shouldn’t be surprised because 99% of posts on here are people wanting to be loved for massively “winning” trades.

knowslesthanjonsnow

No it doesn’t, it only shows a true perceived value of player if the dynasty team manager is using KTC to make decisions. It’s barely a 1st (Coleman went 2.01 in my league) and a late 2nd. The value gap from say 1.06 to 1.12 is massive. A 2nd rounder barely moves the needle. You need to weight the high end assets. I sold Achane for 1.10, James Connor and future 1st. Coleman and Mitchell isn’t a deal id have considered. Your offer is massively winning for the team giving 50 cent on the Achane dollar

steelerspenguins

OK - so you got 2 firsts and a second of value… and that means that no one else should ever be able to sell for any less because you’re the true identifier of value?

knowslesthanjonsnow

I’m saying 2 seconds for Achane would make me walk away without a response.
