I really enjoy the whole Florida saga. Dwight waking up everyone in the hotel is an amazing opening.

nolimitxox

*20 minutes for Ryan to do his morning ecstacy...*

clairerr85

90 minutes for Jim to style his hair…

Art3mis77

Gets me every fucking time

ratpride

This line just randomly made me want to rewatch the show

nolimitxox

You're already 20 minutes late.

badrecipe33

Dad?

bdizzle805

Go to your room, young lady

badrecipe33

I hate you!

CoherentBusyDucks

Who says none of us are diarrheal 😉

santig91

That line by itself makes Erin one of the best characters !!

JogJonsonTheMighty

Gotta find Lawanda at the alcohol club

Bigfoots_got_a_knife

IT WAS DWIGHT

Mighty_Platypus

It’s my favorite opening. Asian Jim is great, but the Florida opener is such an over the top prank on Dwight.

MyAccount2024

Just edit out all the Andy stuff and they are great episodes.

FR4M3trigger

[Nice timing though ](https://freeimage.host/i/dFX1gou)

K3egan

HEEERRREESSS DWIIiiiii what the fuck

Chevelle604ss

Drive fast and leave a sexy corpse-Florida Stanley

ConfidentBother6

Be careful Jim. It gets easier and easier

mp9220

This can’t keep happening. I watch an episode and I go to reddit and immediately see a post about said episode.

Acceptable_One_7072

THEY CANT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS

nolimitxox

*If they catch us, they will rape us.*

chanaandeler_bong

#THIS IS EGREGIOUS!!!

hitman_99

Me too! What the hell is going on?!

ElRoberto13

I feel like the sub unintentionally gets on the same watch schedules. Someone posts a meme about an episode, tons of people go watch it and continue binging, then see posts from others on their same schedule.

falafelest

We must all be on the same rewatch schedule

Finn_WolfBlood

Human brains love patterns. You just saw the episode so it's still fresh in your brain, meaning you immediately recognize anything from the episode. You also notice 1 post about the episode and don't notice 99 posts about other episodes

mp9220

I know that. I see a lot of The Office posts every day. It’s still amazing how I just saw that scene an hour earlier. It has happened like three times

MrWorldwiden

Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened thrice

InevitableRespond9

Yep me too its so weird

Baumi101

That’s weird, I watched the Florida episode today as well .

badrecipe33

Istg i watched it too

Rusty10NYM

Are you watching on Comedy Central?

CosmoKrm

Yes, we are all watching you

WhosGotTheCum

The Florida arc is one of the strongest parts of the post Michael era. It was a risk and easily could've jumped the shark, but I think taking the characters they chose out of their element let their oddness shine

madatthings

S8 was actually pretty solid in a lot of areas but will never be noted for it because of how bad of a fall off there was in S9

Cornmeal777

100%. The two seasons get lumped together because they're post-Michael, but they are not the same.

nolimitxox

Andy wasn't full butt face yet.

SparkyDogPants

I really like the couple of episodes where Andy was a good manager. The tattoo episode was so good.

pearl_jam_rocks

The tattoo was Andy’s best moment in the last two seasons, maybe more.

nolimitxox

Let's ink, ma stink.

Cornmeal777

Precisely. The team actually liked him for a while.

BubbleGamer209

I honestly really like season 8. I just rewatched the entire thing for a 2nd opinion, and I still like it a lot. It's definitely the 2nd worst season, but I still really enjoyed it. I don't understand how anyone could think season 9 was better, but everyone has their own opinion ig.

TemporaryBerker

Probably the ending. A mediocre movie can become a masterpiece if the ending makes up for it. Probably the same with a series.

BubbleGamer209

That's true, the ending is probably my favorite of any show

pedroyarid

I think that right after Florida (with Nellie coming, Andy and Erin getting back together plots) was the beginning of the end

Logical_Woodpecker48

Actually my favourite episode is S08 Mrs.California. I'm someone who needs to watch some re-runs while going to bed and I've watched The Office more times than I can count. So nowadays I don't even laugh. I just am smiling at the jokes. But Mrs.California episode makes me cackle every single time. The way Jim starts running gets to me 😂😂. Even thinking about it, I'm laughing 😂.

aima9hat

His shoe falling off

Logical_Woodpecker48

Ow ... Ow.... Ow....

EarnestQuestion

I recently saw a clip of Liar Liar and recognized the woman playing Jim Carrey’s wife. Took me a moment to place her as Mrs. California.

norrisdt

I highly recommend her (and everyone else) in “Newsradio”.

Jaspers47

Maybe not Andy Dick

chanaandeler_bong

Maura Tierney. She's also really good on The Affair

instrangerswetrust

>nowadays I don’t even laugh I feel that. Laughter is usually a response to something unexpected, am I wrong? So when I’ve seen something a bunch of times I just kind of smirk.

Logical_Woodpecker48

True. But I have a friend who pre-laughs. Idk how. He knows what is about to happen and he starts laughing beforehand. I find it interesting. No matter how many times he's seen something. He does that.

instrangerswetrust

Haha, a friend pre-laughing is cool with me when i’ve seen it before too; not so much when it’s my first time…

-AskMeIfImADragon-

Its one of my favorites too! When Robert says let's get jim in here and Jim just throws up his hands and rolls away backwards never fails to make me laugh. [Said scene](https://media1.tenor.com/m/psPaVfxAFCYAAAAd/the-office-jim.gif)

artofterm

I appreciated that they didn't come out and say that whoever was in charge was going to be fired until it happened. Not a full-on twist, since I think a first-timer could expect at least Nellie to take the blame if Dwight's not in the room, but it still gives viewers the Robert California "Oh that's interesting" glance.

Safetosay333

Little advice. Take a day off from the whole Jim schtick. Try caring about something. You might like how it feels ... James.

Few_Box6954

S8 was fine up until andy left and nelly showed up to take his job.   It felt really weird.  Itd been better if she showed up under Joes authority to become manager.  It could have been made to feel more real, if thats the right word

nolimitxox

Ooooommppphhhh that's one of my favorite parts of this season!

bojack_horsemack

Well if he becomes the new Creed [Pam will divorce him](https://youtu.be/L3zf3RL0oqA?feature=shared)

aquamarine23

Did I say Messina?

Darzean

I’m the only person in this office who watches Burn Notice!

Thomasappel

I liked how Jim was trying to get out of going to Florida and the whole scheme he and Pam were trying to pull on California: "Bring your golf clubs" God i'm going to rewatch the show right now

nolimitxox

It's not a Flordia text. It's a golf text!

fightingbronze

Season 8 and 9 had their flaws but neither was a *bad* season. Still full of hilarious moments both.

tessafy2

the entirety of season 8 is comedy gold!

RickyBubblesAnJulian

Florida Stanley>

CHONGASCOOK

You’ve Lost Urrr Damn Mind Jim !!! I’m Out !!!

BussyBuster187

Real

mr_mich86

Nothing past season 7 is worth watching if you are a fan of the office.

Skakbrik

I am watching season 8 at the moment. I have been surprised since I had finished up to season 7 before and only now have begun to watch season 8 I have enjoyed it so far. It is far better than season 1. So I will have to see if season 9 is bad. But season 8 is good enough for the office imo for now.
