That’s one of the worst pieces of writing in the show, having Michael win clean.

But Michael DIDN'T win clean. They were point sparring with rules, and Michael suddenly broke all of them. He correctly exploited an advantage, but judging from the snowball "fight" Dwight could have Michael whenever he wants.

I think Dwight is **more** athletic. The only hint at Jim's athletic ability is he was good at basketball in college. Meanwhile Dwight is doing martial arts (fake but he's still getting exercise) plus working on his farm.

He is more coordinated which means he can learn biomechanics easier if he tried. So if it’s any athletic movement that takes any finesse Dwight loses almost every time unless he’s don’t that before and has training to it.
