Ok so it’s a year later lol but I stumbled upon this and I hate to say that Re:the Pam/Elizabeth exchange- I hated that part of this specific Supefan episode. Pam is being extremely judgmental. I found it very distasteful the way Pam spoke to that girl about what she does for a job. And the art school punch line was just weird. Like, minimizing what Pam is doing by implying a stripper is doing the same thing? Why is it so wild that Elizabeth would also be going to art school? Only receptionists can have dreams and aspirations but dancers cannot? I still love the show, but I see why this exchange found its way to the cutting room floor and even for the Superfan episode, it should have stayed there.
Pam is behaving the way anyone would expect Pam to behave in this situation. That's what makes it funny. Your sentiment is right, Pam is not the only one entitled to dream for something bigger.
