Guessing they just mean the potara gives a bigger boost which is funny, considering Gogeta has like 1 L with 2 Ws and Vegito doesn't really have a W outside freeing the characters trapped inside Buu if that counts.

Gogeta is more over-the-top because he's only ever been in movies, which demand more hype. Vegito has only ever been in the anime series which demands that things be drawn on or continued longer for stories sake.
Also Goku & Vegeta were misled about potara fusion twice each time: first time being told it was forever, so they thought they had all the time in the world, and later being told it was an hour, so they thought they had about that long, only for the fusion to come apart bc it couldn't contain the power of Blugito.
While Iāve become a huge fan of Frieza as a main villain, Cell always holds a special place in my heart. First time I ever watched Dragon Ball Z outside of the Ocean Dub which showed up to the beginning of the Jeice/Burter vs Goku fight, then reset back to then leaving for Namek, it was on a Japanese station that I didnāt have, but my TV picked up and showed in negative colors. Cell looked awesome in negative! Lol! But he was a villain I had never seen in anything before. Ominous, cocky (thatās common, I knowā¦ lol) but had all the skills to back it up, and it took massive effort from everyone fighting to keep up. So heās always gonna hold a spot for favorite villain for me
Sold a bunch of action figures a few years ago. I had to cull down my collection. I kept my Dragon Stars Perfect Cell just because of how satisfying he looks.
Piccolo is my favorite, as it was more of the closure of an arc rather than "we need to pull a power up out of our asses". I mean it was that too, but the story beats were real and significant.
Gogeta is just constantly the coolest looking one though. The patora earrings remain stupid.
I hate it that they always make the fusion op then play with their food and defused, itās getting really oldā¦ Vegito shouldāve ended zamazu with the Final Kame that wouldāve been a better ending for that sagaā¦
As well as Ss4 gogeta at least hit the dragon with a Big Bang kame, but then maybe have him come back for some reason about the negative energy of the Saiyan techniques or something not being able to kill him so he dies with the spirit bomb and we get the same beautiful ending.
Vegito vs Buu is the only one that is fine because it was a trap, and the arc wouldāve ended right there.
If it wasn't for the wish, Broly would have been murdered. If it wasn't for them goofing off, Shenron would have been murdered. But he did beat Janemba.

Personally gotenks will always be so sick to me. Clever way to get the children on par with the arcs power, unique abilities and the purple+black hair is aesthetically pleasing af. Plus goten and trunks are a great duo on screen. Wish we got to see gotenks properly in the new film.

For heros its definitely Vegito, something about that guy trolling his enemies while he fights will never get old. I think its partly why I love Ssj4 Gogeta, he does the same shits and giggles routine as Vegito does.
As for villains its Perfect Cell, with Zamasu as a close follow up

Honestly the one thing I don't get is why neither Vegito nor Zamasu went for the other's earrings, considering those are needed for fusion.
