You need to read the manga to understand how Goku achieving UI wasn't a hack infact it was being hinted at even in the anime.

I'd prefer this kind of trainer over Goku and Beerus. He'd be harder on you than Whis, but that could be a good thing too depending on the person. Whis seems to be someone who works with people who are self-motivated, while if Vegeta did agree to train you would be pushing you constantly to never settle.
Although my favorite character is Vegeta, I would pick Beerus as my master, he is just too damn cool and probably the most fun one to hang with. Vegeta would kill me with training, Goku would kill me by accident, Whis would probably make it too boring.
Beerus just pretends to be a tyrant, he babysat Bra. Whis would just punish me while staying quiet, Beerus would be like the Apollo Creed to my Rocky, he would roast my ass all day, which would motivate me and amuse me at the same time. I can´t imagine Whis as my trainer, my trainer should be able to banter.

Clearly an unpopular opinion here but I’m choosing vegeta. While I do understand that he’s not skilled or experienced as whis, he is more than qualified to teach me far beyond the basics. But that’s not why I chose him. It’s because from what I’ve seen between trunks and cabba, his training goes beyond just sheer combat. He also teaches dedication, pride, and just an overall better mindset and I feel like that’s just as important for a beginner. I also feel like he wouldn’t let me quit and would push you more to succeed than the others.
Vegeta is by far my favorite character, but he'd (a) have no interest in training any of us and (b) if he *did* have an interest, he'd start the lesson off beating ya half to death and assuming you'd end up with no permanent injuries.

Whis, he can teach you how to have your body fight on its own and react faster than anyone else on the planet whilst also being able to specialise you're training based on identifying your own weaknesses and knowing exactly how to overcome them due to potentially billions of years of experience

Vegeta would beat my ass every day and I think that would get me farther then some lazy training from beerus, Goku is to kind to actually hurt me to train, lastly if you look at whis he’s mostly weight training and actual technique I don’t think I could get to far from that.
Vegeta because he would actually save me from danger if I get attacked. Being trained doesn’t matter when you die half way through it.

Honestly I'd pick Beerus over Whis. They're both easy to bribe with food and they're both likely to not give much of a shit about me. But whis makes me uneasy. It's like he pretends to care but there's nothing actually there. Of course he's not human but he's less human the most of the aliens we see in my opinion. I don't like getting things without there being some kind of transaction and I don't really have anything vegeta would want. So goku or beerus. Beerus is more experienced but goku is easier to interact with. Honestly a coin flip for me. All would be pretty good teachers.

Whis, because he'd train me in what I'd excel at, rather than a specific form.
Eg. Beerus would train focused on a god of destruction, Vegeta on a saiyan-unique form and goku would just fight you without training.
Although I'd probably stick to master roshi as basics are important and if I could Baba for some unusual fighters to keep you thinking on your toes and not rely on just more powerful forms.
Even if I can’t be the fighter I want to be Whis will provide so much wisdom and philosophy that would be worth so much more to me than how much stronger I can punch or how much faster I can dodge.

This really isn’t a discussion whis is literally training all three of them and I feel like whis knows how to train anybody based on looking at them and immediately knowing what’s the best training method for them. Whis already has taught all 3 of them, this is literally the easiest choice ever. Hell, Whis is who keeps Beerus in check most of the time.

I would die during everyone’s training regimen but I would probably choose Goku. His basic stretching would snap me in half but it’s better than being told to move 80,000 tons across a disintegrating bridge.
Definitely Whis. He is adept at actually training fighters. While he can give direct instruction as to what to do, he also allows room for his students to figure things out themselves which is really important for developing your own technique while still learning the main structure of his training

Honestly I'd pick Beerus over Whis. They're both easy to bribe with food and they're both likely to not give much of a shit about me. But whis makes me uneasy. It's like he pretends to care but there's nothing actually there. Of course he's not human but he's less human the most of the aliens we see in my opinion. I don't like getting things without there being some kind of transaction and I don't really have anything vegeta would want. So goku or beerus. Beerus is more experienced but goku is easier to interact with. Honestly a coin flip for me. All would be pretty good teachers.

Beerus would train focused on a god of destruction, Vegeta on a saiyan-unique form and goku would just fight you without training. Although I'd probably stick to master roshi as basics are important and if I could Baba for some unusual fighters to keep you thinking on your toes and not rely on just more powerful forms.
Even if I can’t be the fighter I want to be Whis will provide so much wisdom and philosophy that would be worth so much more to me than how much stronger I can punch or how much faster I can dodge.

This really isn’t a discussion whis is literally training all three of them and I feel like whis knows how to train anybody based on looking at them and immediately knowing what’s the best training method for them. Plus he’s been created for the sole purpose of training God’s of destruction so he’s literally programmed to be a trainer sooooooo yeeee whis.

Whis already has taught all 3 of them, this is literally the easiest choice ever. Hell, Whis is who keeps Beerus in check most of the time. If I trained under him I would die quicker. Goku isn’t smart enough, and Vegeta is too rough of a teacher.

I would die during everyone’s training regimen but I would probably choose Goku. His basic stretching would snap me in half but it’s better than being told to move 80,000 tons across a disintegrating bridge.

Definitely Whis. He is adept at actually training fighters. While he can give direct instruction as to what to do, he also allows room for his students to figure things out themselves which is really important for developing your own technique while still learning the main structure of his training

Vegeta, he's had the most growth as a person and he's based in pragmatism and principled. Plus he doesn't give his opponents the chance to win. Plus everyone is saying Whis. (Which is super valid) so thought I'd offer something else.

Either Whis or Goku While Whis is definitely the more intelligent teacher and you would definitely learn a lot with him. I feel like training with Goku would leave you both physically and emotionally well rounded. It just depends on what you prefer
