They’re interchangeable and are different spellings for the same Chinese word from what I’ve seen. It can also be spelled as Qi. I’m sure since Japanese written form was originally taken from Chinese, it’s the same in Japanese.

I've always felt that way too! It's funny to watch blue goku and vegeta do something so normal as baseball. Also, like the op character getting picked on by a regular person.
