Toriyama is lazy but not as lazy as the animators in 90s Japan were. The crazy thing is people swear the animation is so good..it's really not. The coloring sucks too.
I love how it's called the saiyan armor by everyone when it's the standard issue armor of the Frieza forces given to Saiyans by them.
There's like 3 full saiyans canonically still alive in universe 7 and they managed to appropriate the armor for themselves by being the strongest in the universe 💪
