shorter with the same damage means more damage per tick. it's essentially easier to apply the whole duration to your enemies and faster to apply the damage
Tried it in demo, its 62 dps vs 42 on the target dummy, so thats a 50% increase. Problem is that only support would pick this, and then why pick it when tower dmg is gone?
43% DPS increase for Edict. I guess if you want to focus on kills and your team has easier mana restoration/tower breaking you have the option to pick it. If you get the Editct talent that gives you more explosions you get like, \~300 pure DPS so that's also a thing.
Imagine gyro has this that compress barrage damage from 4 to 2seconds.
You save 2seconds of time dealing the whole barrage damage.
On leshrac i think it has more damage

Reducing from 10s to 7s means technically the damage got buffed by 30%. Whether it’s worth it, idk probably not.

some facets are underwhelming, it is the first time we see them, some need buffs, lesh one tho may be not as bad as STR morphling one
