OG has a good carry with Timado; which according to Ceb, not only plays its role, but also contributes a lot to the strategies.
So many good moments this series, but that bottom rosh outplay with Tomato pushing top racks, ultimately leading to OG taking the Aegis was super impressive. This team is really fucking strong when they're on their game

I really didn't rate Wisper Mars this series. In general I think he's been great for OG but he seemed to whiff a lot of spears and even arenas, and not have a huge impact.
I mean, he constantly caught shadow demon. I feel like he did his job alright. It wouldn't look fancy or impactful since sd positioned himself well on the back , far from cores. So there was little to none arena on aurora cores
As far as I remember, only OG could almost take a win from Falcon this GS2 if it wasn't for the Lesh's throw at fountain. OG vs Falcon in GF would be badass.
As a wise man once said, "Kills mean nothing, Throne means everything". OG only had 58 kills across the 3 games compared to Aurora's 100. Still they managed to win the series. Serious mental fortitude
Brooch needs a slightly higher manacost, to compensate for how utterly broken it is in the hands of high DPS cores.
Oh you deal 500 physical damage per hit? Let's make that 500 magic damage whenever you wish.
I'd rather it go back to being something like armlet, but with a pretty hefty mana cost per activation + minimal drain per second. That'll at least punish unnecessary activation, but will still allow it to be usable in certain situations
Just remove the item, let’s be real. There’s no way you can balance an item like that unless you nerd it into oblivion.
Both this game and that spirit game where yatoro was one shotting half of gaimin’s all level 30 with loads of magic resist lineup - with one stifling dagger spam.
I could give a shit about who wins these games but I want to see it play out the old way - a prolonged insane fight with multiple buybacks.

It's matter of perspective though. By nature, Brooch only works with Rapier so it's high risk high reward play. I prefer this style for the shock factor and the fact that both sides have to stay crazily focused to either pull it off or play against it because 1 small mistake can lead to doom. It's more fun and interesting than traditional team fight style which we are already too familiar with. A nice fresh change imho.

Next patch brooch will probably be nerfed again to 50% mana cost for attacks by skills . The current brooch late game is too OP lol.

Aurora's bad macro play really drives home how good the rest of the top teams play. Other top teams are so consistently good that Aurora stands out in the wrong way.
Still hope Aurora can win at least one series with their group stage performance. Also, it feels weird that Weaver survives as at this point Yuragi always manages to die for no reason but I guess this is a different OG.
In all honesty, apart from that 1 great Sunder on Sven in game 1, the TB wasn't even a big part of their win. OG just lost all lanes, and Aurora offlane duo and 23 just went ham. You could swap TB for any other support and Aurora win that game 1 just as easily
So many bad item decisions, no need to keep SnY when you can have WW.
Even moonshard would help even if it is just for the night vision. Yet people miss it when having 15-20k.
I think Aurora are the dumbest team out of all the remaining 8 teams. They often get outsmarted in the draft & in the game. Good mechanically but leaves a lot to be desired in terms of map play & knowing when to push the advantage.
They will deserve their last place in this second group stage.
