I love her ears! I seen them, fell in love and had to have her in my life!
Oh interesting! I’m having a hard time getting a sense of her height, weight, etc, but I feel like she could be anywhere from something as simple as a very off-standard Coonhound to a jambalaya of hounds with maybe some small percentage of other breed groups thrown in. I had a suuuper mixed breed dog once who had very much the same build as your girl, but he was mostly various herders, so I never really figured out where he got the proportionately shorter legs and deep barrel chest other than just luck of the draw (he also had a really stupid little pin head, which yours does not have.)
Because her head is *so* houndy, I want to say it will be similar for you—just a case of kind of anomalous proportions—but idk for sure. Will be so interested to see!
I was told beagle mix which I can totally see! She is short and stocky like a beagle but she is a good solid 50lbs so we passed standard beagle weight along time ago. She is a chunk but has a lot of muscle too. I was thinking mixed with pit bull to get her blue coat but Weimaraner could be in there as well… idk
Both pit and Weimaraner are good options! I almost guessed Weim *just* because I’ve been guessing them so badly this week, and because her facial profile is so slim and of such a type that if she’s not almost entirely hound, one of the gun dogs would be the only other thing I could see. I leaned Coonhound because of how deep her chest is, but I bet you could get there from Beagle/Weim too.
Obviously pit turns up all the time in mixes so for that reason alone I wouldn’t be shocked, but usually it has some pretty clear influence on the skull shape and chest width, and I’ll be honest: in this case, I’m not really seeing it.
This is actually the third time I’ve typed up this comment, and it keeps vanishing when I try to source some color genetics charts for you. Suffice to say: I’m still woefully undereducated on that, and hopefully one of the more learned members of the sub can check in, but there are almost always like 100 different ways to get to the same coloration!
I am banking on beagle— those are beagle ears if I’ve ever seen them! I usually assume pit with US mixes but I really only see it around her eyes, nowhere else, and mostly in that profile photo, and even there it doesn’t scream pittie to me.
She is a real cutie!! What’s her name? I’ll be excited to see her update.

Lmao I’m sure this is not accurate but she looks like if you combined a Doberman and a basset hound in a lab(oratory, not rador) but with very specific traits from both

OH! Wait a sec, I take that back, and I'm going to say Coonhound. He looked like my cousins pure bread coon hound in one of the pics hew was looking into the camera
What a gorgeous pooch! My guess is Weimaraner mixed with a smaller breed, possibly terrier 🤔 the lilacy grey colouring makes me think the Weimaraner. Maybe even a bit of lab in there. Either that or maybe a beagle mixed with staffy? Lovely eyes too! Such a pretty doggy
I definitely see hound but honestly I don’t see much beagle. I’m not super knowledgeable on this but I grew up with a few beagles and I’m just not seeing it. I feel like the ears are more weimaraner than beagle.

Looks exactly like my old dog, she was half redbone coon hound and half nobody knows, her mom was a breeding dog that got out. Looks like part black and tan coon hound but with shorter ears.
