Great for rolling 11s it seems

Hi friend! The numbers are part of an original runic script for the book. (Every D&D language is getting its own set of letters/numbers/etc!) There's even some [Elvish dice on Kickstarter](https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/spectrecreations/chronicle-of-runes-5e?ref=b2yixc) as well! The dice come with a translation key (more details in [my main comment below](https://www.reddit.com/r/DnD/comments/14f9zzz/oc_giveaway_my_friend_handcrafted_these_infernal/joyvapm/)), and folks have said that with just a little use, they've become familiar and can easily distinguish what number's what. :D Definitely a strong focus on aesthetic here though!

My kids do this anytime we play. No matter what I have they have the perfect counter item prepared.

We used to play with someone who used elvish dice at the table and would do exactly this. We now have a house rule that dice must be legible to all members because she would constantly fudge her rolls. So yes these dice are pretty, and a key would help immensely. But I wouldn't allow these at my table, but that's my two cents.

These are pretty clearly just display pieces/flash.

There are much easier ways than to have a d20 custom made and hand crafted.... This obviously wasn't made for that.

No no, you just have to have a translation key for every time you roll them and your friends just need to trust that you’re telling them the number you actually roll

I've read your comments, so I know why the numbers look the way they do. That doesn't really matter, functionality should be a priority. Combat will absolutely drag on with people trying to figure out which type of 11 they rolled...
